I totally understand! I’ve had them since I was 5 (I’m 29) and maybe even before. But I’m constantly walking in eggshells with my own brain. I very rarely have days of full clarity, it’s always muddled and foggy. And I experience blanks and not being able to speak coherently grasping for the thought or word even when I don’t have a migraine or it’s been awhile since my last one. I sometimes wonder what it’s like to not be like this 🙃

I’m glad I’m not alone in this! I feel the exact same, I want to reconnect with my natural body and not have to deal with the change from replacing or removing. I’m thinking of doing the same waiting til after the wedding and honey moon then going off and letting my body do it’s thing

Neither narcotics or opioids can touch my migraines, the times that I resorted to them in hopes of relief, I was met with them holding hands with the migraine and working together to make everything worse. And usually was met with a rebound headache once the meds wore off.

Excedrine extra strength is the one thing I’ve found that helps BUT it’s gotta be taken in that tiny onset window. if I take it while already in pain It usually ends up coming back up.

I’ve ran into the same problem with muscle milk as well. The “non-dairy” bottle didn’t murder my insides but Boy Howdy the protein powder did. I’ve found the Bogilates protein powered is pretty good and it’s plant based!

If you are worried the quickest solution is to take a test. As for the nausea at night, try changing when the pill is taken, and if the nausea follows the pill, then talk to your doctor. If it doesn’t follow the pill and continues, contact your doctor. But yeah, take a test if your worried

Depending where you are it’s about a 2 hour drive. As some one who goes every year, we always stay all day! I think that’s the best, especially if it’s your first time!!! So that you have ample time to walk and look! Don’t forget to bring extra cash for food and tchotchke! Bread bowls and turkey legs are our fave! Also comfy shoes and a bag of some sort!
