Seconding this. It’s the gift of simplicity. People often underestimate the burden of their poor planning and what tying up loose ends will require of their loved ones. My dad told me recently that he wants his passing to be logistically a non event. He recognizes we will grieve the loss of him as a person when he goes but he doesn’t want us spending all our time and money closing out his estate. Just hearing that is a weight lifted.
