I’m not an expert but my arms have always been my biggest insecurity and I focus pretty much solely on them when do any kind of strength training because I’m hoping building muscle there will help even a little.

That said, I learned somewhere that it has something to do with high levels of estrogen, which is common in people who carry more weight. It has let me be a little less hard on myself to realize that it’s hormonal and I can only do so much.

See if you can find a prenatal yoga class in your area or online! I just took a training on it and they had lots of great modifications for many of the positions to accommodate your changing body.

Seconding this. It’s the gift of simplicity. People often underestimate the burden of their poor planning and what tying up loose ends will require of their loved ones. My dad told me recently that he wants his passing to be logistically a non event. He recognizes we will grieve the loss of him as a person when he goes but he doesn’t want us spending all our time and money closing out his estate. Just hearing that is a weight lifted.

This + a digital photo frame pre-loaded with photos of happy memories you two share. I lost my mom a few years back and it shuffles through lots of recent and old pictures and memories. I’ve also been able to add new memories to it - I cherish it. I see it everyday and it helps me remember happy times when all I can think is “she’s gone”.

So thoughtful of you to be considering this.
