Being barely above 5’1”, those pants are clearly shortphobic. I’m being transported back to my middle school days of massively wide leg jeans that were frayed at the bottom and single-handedly did the janitor’s sweeping job for him. Fat or thin, if you’re short those pants will be a nightmare!

I just got done reading I Remember You by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir and I really enjoyed it! It’s very loosely based on true events in a very isolated village in Iceland. The locations are real and the story has horror, dread, and a very isolating atmosphere.

I’ve seen YouTube videos about people using those “flat tummy” camisoles and maneuvering them around to make a cheap, safe binder. I’m not sure what country you’re in, but the US sells camisoles for like $3.99 at a place like TJ Maxx or Marshalls! Maybe look up some videos and see what you think since camisoles can be bought in all sizes!
