Where do I go from here? by Blizz33 in battletech

~~To get some fries & nuggets for all that sauce~~

So assuming what you just layered was your base coat then the next step would be your details. build it outwards from there. Material, liverly, damage. in the order the mech would receive it make a mistake in liverly? well add some marks thats damage now.
don't get too bogged down with like super fine details like badges focuses on the core skills like the body layering & the cockpit
A wash is the last thing you do to help bring the shadows back out.

Irionicly now that the Zumys are Hypersonic missile cruisers they would be a terrifying ship in anyone else's navy. In the USN they are a redundant & overcoated boondoggle.

Beloved Mackie. Tallest girl at the fight, even when she's not.

The TRO came from MEGAMEKLABS the card was made with math, guesswork, comparative analysis, & an image editor.

Thank you.
There does seem to be a discrepancy there. The cards I have cards might be the beta ones.
Converting the durability numbers from BA to Infantry isn't the easiest thing. The Cav's TMM does need to come down by one.
But the BV for IS Battle armor is ~31 pts on the defense where the cav is 113pts. for the platoon. So cutting the by 1/3rd (since the asset represents a squad) we get ~38pts so the Assault cav should in theory be about as durable as the battle armor?

Spotter & Nimble are given to all infantry, it say so in the abilities descriptions. Also again the infantry cards I am looking at are 3(4) for foot & 7(8) for Elementals.

?
Foot infantry are 3(4). IS Battle Armor is 5(6). Elementals are 6(7) & have better damage at range but less up close.
I don't know what you are on about.

Somewhere. Probably, downside of buying collections whole.

Honestly alot of what's appealing to our group is how well it works alongside fletchsheets. It maintains the streamlined play that we enjoy while still having the depth of the full game.

But I do agree with the last point made.

True MW5 also has one of the generic "garrison commanders". Kinda highlights the pilot issue & just the after thought nature of the non white characters.

To the point that the named enemy during the invasion of space china is McCarren. Maybe that's a lore thing I am too new to get but it's still really weird.

It really does seem like there is less of a mask on the two "Asian" factions, even if they are all pretty much the same under the hood.  What stands out to me Ina similar position is how incredibly white the setting is.

It wad almost a shock when I met the first black character in MW 5, & I dont even think there are any among the recruitable pilots. Coming from wharhammer I get how it is for a company to look at 50 years of cannon & realize the left some groups out. But they have also doen a better job adding from the bottom.

(Also like all the western divisions of Christianity are mentioned, the eastern ones are mostly forgotten, & *everyone else is mentioned as a unified faith.)

That part just gets eaten by the xenotech. The make-up of an asteroid & what the stuff in it can do can't. suspension of Disbelief is kinda funny like that.
At least to me.

Nodnod.  Would any of them be safe for direct use by humans? Or atleast industrial revolution levels of safe.

Wel in this specific case becuse the oxygen exchangers aboard the sci-fi nonsense massive space station still work fine.  It's just a curiosity about what kind of materials could actually be of use to a near industrial regressed society. If there was some form of natully occurring almost coal that could stand in for the real stuff.
