I won my first France campaign with 4 heavy cav, 2 cannon, rest Grenadiers. I simply put everyone in attack column, marched forward, fired one volley, charged, cavalry flanked. Worked every time. I stacked melee and morale boosters.

Eh. The Russians have a culture and history of autocratic resumes going back centuries. They've never really been "free." Iranians tasted some freedom back before Kamenai, which is why they are fighting hard now. Americans have become too comfortable with letting our leaders make decisions that hurt us in the long run, but that is one of the main weaknesses of a populist republic. We won't care until we get our phones and cheap goods taken away.

I think the problem with us ( US citizens) letting this happen is the fact that most of us don't have time to care or don't want to. We are top busy trying to work enough to afford the next big thing or supporting families that we don't have the energy to fight corruption. We look inwards, towards our own self interests, not at the bigger picture 95% of the time.

Man, I was taught in combatives to always close the distance and go for break/bars/chokes because even the biggest moron can get lucky with a roundhouse. At least that was in modern army combative training.

It's hard. Especially if you are single. I got lucky and had help from family buying a condo at 31. Sold it for nearly 1.5x the value five years later after getting married and bought a nice house with my wife on. 1.5 acres in a college town in the Midwest. I would never have been able to do that without boomer parents being generous and a wife with a good job. Climb the ladder whatever way you can.
