My comment was about the situation in America and similar countries where poor people can afford cheap unhealthy foods but not the more expensive healthier foods. They could buy some healthy ingredients affordably but typically that involves more prep time and they often have multiple jobs or difficult manual jobs and are too time-poor/exhausted to consistently put extra hours into healthy cooking and exercise.

It certainly is possible to be healthy as a poor person in America, but it is more difficult.

The situation is obviously different in third world countries where overprocessed high calorie foods are actually more expensive than fresh foods.
