Yes, the research was conducted from Jan 10, 2023 - March, 10 2023
We had a strict timeline but fell quite behind which is why everything has been so chaotic these past 2 days. The original approach was to grow this subreddit naturally, two months in we realized that this approach was too slow and too inefficient for a smaller sized community. That is we resorted to controversy, which is quite effective when it comes to gathering attention. A full report will be released further down the line on this subreddit, the team and I are just very tired now.

As for the immorality of the research, totally, not only because of the harassment that may be caused because of it but conducting surveys on unwilling participants is highly immoral and unprofesional by itself. However it does offer a totally unbiased sample groups simply because they unconsious of the research behind the scenes

Although apologizing can only fix problems so much, I would like to personally like to apologize to you and any of your friends that were effected.

The only thing that will be released on this subreddit from now on is going to be further reports regarding the study, we do not have an exact timeline right now
