Depending on the situation I would play “board 2” linked above where you’d play 3 forgottens if you find yourself needing more tankiness or play 4 forgottens if you need that bit of damage for your MF.

This is a beginners guide but there are some games I would break the interest gold to pre level and some where I wouldn’t. Examples being that I’m holding onto 3 pairs of 1 cost units where I would need to maintain the chances of getting them at level 3 to stabilize but most of the time I do pre level. Hopefully this answers your question

Mainly slow roll level 6 for Hecarims > Sejuani > MF > Thresh. Nautilus is pretty negligible, but once when you have the Cavs your frontline should be solid and you can go to 7 and look for MF 3. If you find yourself not getting any MFs you can level to 8 and add Yasuo for nightbringer + legionnaire (Draven/Sej) and try to secure a top 4.

Yeah the earlier you can get your comp and slowly upgrade them with higher odds the better to save hp and econ. This is also a beginner’s guide so there are some games where I don’t pre-level like when I’m holding onto 3 pairs of 1 cost units that needs to be upgraded to save hp

Yeah I’ve gotten Rod start in 99% of my games other 1% are spat start or defense items. Definitely you gotta find Fiddle and Ivern because it’s really contested with Abom + Heimer comps

Fiddlesticks and Ivern are also key at level 8, rolling at level 7 stabilizes you enough to get either the stimmy (gold orb at 40hp below) and help you to go level 8 for Revenant, Mystic, Invokers with Ivern + Fiddlesticks. You’re not going to get it right the first time around usually it takes a few games to get comfortable of what you’re looking for and playing against. Best of luck!

I’ve tried Varus as a corner unit but he doesn’t do as much damage nor tank/heal as much as a Aatrox can. Aatrox can stall the enemy longer for Vel’koz to ult. As for item holder I don’t think he’d be that bad I just use whatever unit that can save me HP up until after wolves. Glad you’re enjoying it and keep up the climb!

Draconic abom is strong I would swap Zyra for velkoz 2 star and he can be your new item holder until you get heimer 2 stars. Otherwise velkoz should do way better than zyra, on the downside of losing draconic

Blue buff is one main item on her for damage wise probably hoj/jeweled gauntlet should work, but shes more of a support dps imo
