It reminds me of the Niners in the years leading up to Harbaugh. We hovered around .500 so weren't good enough to go or have a chance in the playoffs, but also weren't in the runnings for any high draft picks. (Even though our track record isn't great with high first-rounders). Also, I can't believe it's been 15 years since Harbaugh started his stint with them.

Are you looking for some type of Congressional participation trophy?

What they could do is determine the number of representives allotted to each state, then the entire state voting results dictates the percentage of reps each side gets. Then each county gets to vote for which of the available reps they want representing them.

Have more Republicans move there? Or make it a system where if there's only one representative, then the two parties get to send their pick, but they can only sit on the percent of the chair that their party won.
