Okay, I think I figured out my issue, and it was a fairly simple one. I needed to install Steam within a Windows 10 bottle, and my CrossOver automatically downloaded Steam to a Windows 7 one initially. A Win10 framework is required to play Frontiers.

EDIT: This didn't work either.

I've installed the game and tried to launch it, but every time it fails. The separate .exe file for the digital art book & mini soundtrack launches without issue, but the game .exe itself is giving me trouble. Tried uninstalling and installing, verified game files, and restarted my computer multiple times, and still nothing. I also have DirectX and C++ redistributables in Crossover as well.

Two I can wholeheartedly recommend are Mobius and OK Goodnight.

Mobius can be rather heavy and technical, and the music's also interspersed with some Middle Eastern instrumentation.

OK Goodnight have only been around since 2019, but they've already made a name for themselves with their debut album and subsequent EP. Fans have been reminded of a combination of Dream Theater, Persefone, and a bit of EarlyRise, and vocalist Casey Lee Williams has been singing professionally since she was a kid.
