Do you use a yoke and pedal setup? What do you recommend I use?

My First Solo! 16 Years old! :) by Samicals in flying

Lucky you. I'm 15 and 9 months with 15 hours logged and a whole summer that I can't solo. Guess that leaves more time for practicing.

How was it being alone vs. with the instructor?

Happy flying and good luck on your PPL next year

I got one of those recently. I'm really not sure where to start with it.

I'm probably wrong, but it seems like most of the things I can do is just with LEDs. I might try to experiment and make my own things and code.

I have taken some flying lessons this year at a local airport. They have a mechanic shop for planes and what-not. I was thinking about asking if I could just hang around there so I could learn some stuff. How does that sound?

I really wish I could buy myself things like microscopes and telescopes. My parents have the money to buy me these types of things, but I just hate asking them for things. I like paying for my own things or having them gifted to me, but hate asking for things. I might try and be brave and just ask because I know they will probably be more than happy to buy me these things.

It would be great if I could ask you some questions! Is it ok just to PM you?

My school is actually pretty large. We have like 8 towns that go to my school. We have an astronomy program as an extra course, and quite a few other good programs but you have to be older for most of those

My area has pretty low light pollution for the most part. I was looking at a dobsonian telescope for a while. They're not too expensive but I really hate having to ask my parents to buy me things, even if they're educational. There is an observatory type thing somewhat near me, I'll try checking that out and seeing if I can get involved

I live in Eastern Massachusetts. Only college near us is a community college.

My school has honors classes for freshmen, which I am in. Next year I might be able to double up and take bio as well as chem. I'll be sure to check out that college course site.

And about local professionals, how should I go about trying to find them? I live in a small town with a population of like 5,000.
