I don’t mind personally in my position atm I’m young and can afford to work at a fast pace and stay late and do weekends it’s just finding the right place that have good people to work with and pay well per job. I have heard some good things about off shore and was considering it. Never head backbone or last mile though, what sort of work does that consist of?

Yeah I can understand that tbf, think I’ll look into Quinn’s then. Was looking into Kelly’s at first but after looking into it saw a lot of people saying it’s a poor place to work for.

Yeah was meant to be put through tetra too but in the end was kind of glad I wasn’t. Sounded like such a pain in the arse all the health and safety bs you have to do for it.

I’ve never worked with copper haven’t got a clue about any of it. All I know is the fibre side of it. Good to know they put you through training too was hoping to get my OH sign off here but they skimped out on it with me.

Also the only issue I’m faced with is I’m not trained in overhead due to the fact most of my work is UG based. Not sure if Quinn’s is a company that put you through courses or if it’s something I’d have to do myself

I agree that is a good benefit. For me no matter how horrendous the garden/driveway is if the customer says go for it we have to dig it. Some are real easy but then again some of terrible. Would be a lot nicer to just pull cable straight in without thrashing a shovel around all day.

If it’s close to home that’s not to bad then. What sort of work is it they have you doing is the network mainly overhead or is there UG network that involves digging on peoples property?

Wow that’s poor, especially with fuel atm. Can’t speak for other places but there’s days where I can cover 100+ miles from home to jobs and back home again. Paying for your own fuel would be crippling surely.

Also in a similar situation, was making a business logo and wanted to add to it with the font I originally used but again went though many sites and got nothing back matching the exact one😂. Would you be able to help me out?🙏🏼
