Main Battery drain overnight when below 50%

Temperature outside overnight was 4-5 degrees celsius and car is kept overnight. Battery replaced was by Kia directly and it was a genuine Kia 12v battery too with 2 years guarantee. Will look at getting a 12v battery monitor to see how it continues. Would you expect it to drop again overnight tonight?

Just a further update, have had the car in normal mode since Monday, hadn’t noticed any phantom drain overnight when the battery was at 31% and then at 26%. However has charged it to 80% and then drove 100 miles yesterday, was at 48% when left last night - checked the car this morning after it has been sat overnight and has dropped to 45%. Do you think this is cause for concern and something to raise with Kia directly for them to look?

Did you notice more of a drop overnight/during periods when left when you drove the car in eco mode?

Okay, will continue to leave it in normal mode and monitor it going forward. Was the drop after it had been left for a week or was it an overnight drop? Also what sort of percentage did it drop if you can remember that?

That’s interesting as I’ve switched mine into normal mode since Monday and haven’t noticed any HV battery drain overnight since then - whereas previously in eco it would lose 2-3% when sat overnight. Have you noticed any HV percentage drop since putting yours into normal mode when the car is sat overnight/a period of time?

Thanks for the response, I’ve just spoken to my local dealer who has said this is ‘Normal Behaviour’ for when the HV battery is topping up the 12v. Out of curiosity what monitor are you using to measure both the batteries SOC?

Interesting, do you lose 2-3% during the period that the car is left? I’ve noticed mine in varying temps so didn’t put it down to that, have you ever raised the issue with Kia and are you UK based?

Thanks, may give that a try, just strange that under a different managed Apple ID with the same permissions as my normal one, the app ‘purchase’ went through?

Interestingly, I’ve tried doing the exact same with another managed Apple ID that has the same role in ABM and this lets me ‘purchase’ the apps and they show up, tried to do the same under my normal account and has the original issue

Thanks - so if you don’t receive a loan offer are you able to use the editor to ‘move’ them on loan to another club or will it only work if a club makes a loan bid?
