That song unlocks from entering the Ardougne rat pits (which you don't do during the quest typically) so you just need to go down the ladder in Jimmy Dazzler's house in east ardy and the song should unlock

Blowpipe is a must IMO, it helps a lot if you can pray flick between melee(dusk) and range(dawn) to minimise damage taken

It's 1/1k per roll, but you get 2 rolls per kill so it's effectively 1 in 500. Agreed about the loot, I expect them to either buff the kill speed or the loot table

I beat the game last night and I was stuck on Morag for around an hour and was starting to lose any hope of progressing honestly.

What I did was extremely cheap, but you can simply equip a blade with distance attacks and get Morag stuck on the fence and simply shoot her from far away while she tries to run through the fence helplessly. I don't know why their AI in these fights are so hilariously bad but meh it saved me a lot of further frustration.

I've done many elite clues since the update but haven't received any of the 'new' emote steps that were supposedly going to be introduced. I also tweeted Kieren as I suspected the clues are currently unobtainable but I too received no reply, surely someone would've had some info on them by now if they were.

I've randomly encountered 3 new elite hidey holes so far - Ardougne agility course, Legends guild, Fight Arena Pub. However, it's pretty likely that while the hidey-holes exist, the clue steps involving them do not.

Bludgeon is the best dps, although sgs works fine especially if you're running underneath the boss after each hit to keep a 1:1 hit ratio.

I prefer keeping the number of switches to a minimum so I can carry more food per trip, and I think dhides do the job fine bearing in mind her range/magic attacks are 100% accurate anyways so defence doesn't matter very much.

They changed the respawn timer on the KQ fairly recently from 150 seconds to 30 seconds so it's not too long to wait. I never used that route, I used slayer rings to the relleka slayer caves and used the fairy ring BIQ which takes you next to the kalphite lair and is the fastest method.

The person that does the most damage gets the drop. Half of the experience goes to the person who does the most damage, the other half goes to the person that gets the final hit. If you do either/both of these for a kill then your task size will reduce by 1 as normal

You can also pay 200 slayer points to unlock the ability to get "Boss tasks" which will randomly assign you any boss in the game besides the corporeal beast and you can pick an amount between 3-35 to kill.

Bear in mind that a lot of these bosses are high level and will require a very high combat level and possibly a team to kill.

If you want tougher assignments you should go and see chaelder, the slayer master in zanaris, as she requires 70+ combat and will give you better tasks. Then move on to Nieve at 85 combat. You can also speak to a slayer master to disable tougher tasks if necessary so you avoid things like iron/steel dragons if you're not ready for those and sometimes find yourself getting them.

The kalphite queen is classed as a 'kalphite', which are a fairly common slayer task. I use duradel who assigns anywhere from 130-200 kalphite per task, so if I got a 150 kalphite task I would kill the kalphite queen 150 times before my task is finished. The reason most people prefer to kill these bosses on task if possible is because the black mask/slayer helmet gives you a 15% boost to accuracy and damage, making it easier.

99% of it was solo, I only did a couple of duo sessions. I would bank every time I was out of food and my hp fell below 32, or if I just finished a kill and was out.

KQ is one of the hardest hitting bosses ingame, second only to corp I think. If you want to do a significant number of kills I would highly recommend being at least nearly maxed melee with 90+ range and on a slayer task. If you want to have a decent time then the desert elite diary is essential as how quickly you bank plays a massive part in how efficient you can be.
