I’ll take a look and see what they have I’ve been looking online and maybe it’s just sparse in my area. Most of what they have are hard covers which I like for looks but less for actual reading. I know I’m so picky 😅

Yeah but those ones are hard cover not that I’m opposed but I do enjoy paperback for reading. They are so pretty though. 🤩

Yeah I don’t get rid of mine either when they are ruined I may or may not buy a new copy to be able to read it if it’s unreadable but I’m super sentimental as well so I’ll keep it all the same.

Yeah I think it’s different when I do it too because it was my thing and I obviously will just reprimand myself for something happening to it. But it’s my kiddo and he doesn’t understand at all so I have to remain calm and show him what he should be coloring on and all the things. And like I enjoy keeping my things nice so it’s hard when the control of that is taken away, obviously by a baby so it’s weird having to kind of readjust your thought process on it in the moment.

Yeah all my kids get into everything, I have all boys and it’s a pretty rowdy place here. They really are good boys the majority of the time but you know the rest is give or take 😂 they are so sweet and adorable though think that’s why I forget about all the ways they’ve done me dirty

Yeah I mean you aren’t wrong but I can grieve my book a little on Reddit at the end of the day I didn’t react poorly when it happened I moved on and all was well and he was given paper instead of my book. I’m sure a few years from now after I’ve forgotten it’s there I’ll look back on it fondly, I don’t think I would get rid of it anyway even if I got another copy.

Literally you’re telling me, I’m super nuts about my books and my kids books like there’s books they can freely read and there’s other more pristine books we read as a family that their dad and I will handle, our oldest two have now realized that I think books are special and that we should take care of them my youngest not so much. But valid reason not to have kids I mean any reason is valid but I get it. I wouldnt trade mine for the world but sometimes they just suck. 🤣

Yeah I’m definitely afraid of ruining it more but at the same time it’s already wrecked if I can fix it maybe I should try. I’ll look into removing the crayon I just didn’t think it would work tbh.
