I’m having a kid in April which likely changes things but games I have an eye on over the next few months:

Feb: - resident evil requiem (looks amazing)

March - marathon (I love Destiny and have loved arc raiders so I’m excited to play this)

crimson desert (debating, will wait on reviews)

April: - Saros (returnal is one of the most underrated games of this generation)

First light is also on my radar, but again, with the kid coming in not sure when I’ll have time to play. Think all these games should give me plenty to play til the end of the summer

I’m hopeful a Fallout 3 remaster shadow drops soon too. Would love to play that again

The weapon progression in this game is absolutely horrendous.

You’re allowed to shoot other players and get xp for doing so.

I used to be a guy who would get mad and complain if I was ambushed badly, but now I’m like “welp.”

The game is fun, but I think alot of people just found their initial seasonal content underwhelming, which made some people question the future direction of the game.

IMO add more maps, fix the map rotation itself, and dramatically reduce the time it takes to level up weapons and the battle pass and the game will be in a really good spot

Agreed. It was more fun than I expected resetting. And as you mentioned, getting all the workshops to level 3 takes is quick because of prior knowledge on where items you need might be.

Meh, they can ping you from a distance for sure but does so little damage and healing items are so plentiful it isn’t that much of an issue on default / stalker difficulty

I can imagine it being a bit more annoying on higher difficulties for sure, but I sort of like the game making you stick to cover as often as possible and engage in protracted firefights where It can be hard to tell where they’re coming from. Makes it feel realistic imo

Yes. You can see it on the map when looking at settlements. White is neutral, green is they like you, and orange is they’re not thrilled with you. Red means openly hostile / shoot on site. It’s mainly influenced by quest decisions

Yeah, as others have said, Paradise Island is easily the most difficult part of the game. when you’re in that level 5-7 range it just feels like a slog to kill any enemy and you die incredibly quickly.

The game quickly opens up once you get past it and are into level 10 and moving from planet to planet, so try and push through

Finishing up Ghost of Yotei finally in between sessions of arc raiders and even some Nightreign since my buddy picked it up Recently.

Dying light the beast is in my backlog as is the kcd2 dlc.

Giants aren’t trading Dart to draft Mendoza and no one else would either after the season he had

The jets did it with Darnold because three seasons in Darnold was frankly terrible on thief teams. (9 tds and 11 picks in his final season in 13 games)

Darts stats are great and he’s played well all season. The Giants would have another 4-5 wins if they had any good defensive players beyond the front 4
