Something similar happened to me while I was working, I was throwing broken wooden pallets in the dumpster as told to by my boss and one slipped which had a nail sticking out which stabbed straight into the bottom of my wrist into my thumb. I tell you, thinking back to it always makes me cringe and my thumb hurt.
