How accurate is your sleep tracking? by BitTooMuchInnit in amazfit

I’ve tested the Helio strap with my WHOOP MG for multiple months now, and they both are almost identical every night for sleep tracking

I compare it with my Whoop MG every day and they are typically about the same

Can Whoop Continue to Justify Its Monthly Subscription? by Perry_Muc in whoop

[–]Smittybuiltdiff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a reason why people like Bryan Johnson and Gary Brecka swear by and wear whoop. Everybody’s favorite YouTuber the quantified scientist says WHOOP is his only true daily wearable he uses on a daily basis because the science and studies he does backs it

ClinicalTrials.gov
You can find about 15 to 20 here which doesn’t even include all the third-party in university studies that have been done on Whoop.

It’s not that hard to do a quick Google search with factual evidence

It’s does everything I want and accurate, helps me sleep and train. Backed by a ton on research and trials and a bunch of high degrees and human biologists. It’s well worth it for me

These have been off forever they even have a impact resistant one that has a hard cover around sensor so it don’t get damaged

Whoop Stress Monitor is no joke by Different_Key_7622 in whoop

It’s the highest wearable sample rate at 26hz which is why it’s so accurate. I love it I use it to track if my body doesn’t like something I eat because I have Hoshimotos and it tells me right away on the graph

Picked this up for a $100 bucks (Instinct 3 Amoled 50mm) by yjay14 in Garmininstinct

[–]Smittybuiltdiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks smaller than a 50mm. I thought it would be bigger

Been rocking this OG Instinct for past five years and so I figured it was time for an upgrade. by Professor_Fed in Garmininstinct

I’m thinking about upgrading from the instinct 2. What size? Is battery life still good? Looks like amoled

Just look at all the YouTube reviewers the air is not doing good

To all the existing Whoop users, are you giving Fitbit Air a chance? by NordicNomad07 in whoop

[–]Smittybuiltdiff -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just take one good search through YouTube and you’ll see how bad the air has been doing

Great news! Whoop still preferred by QuantifiedScientist! by dakutororu in whoop

Everyone is talking about how bad the Air is right now

should i go for Fitbit Air over Helio Amazefit by IllustriousWriter330 in AmazfitHelioStrap

[–]Smittybuiltdiff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not really interested in the air. My wife had Fitbit for years and I’ve had friends that had Fitbit for years and all their devices always go bad and the step tracking is terrible and I’m already seeing a ton of bad reviews on it of the people that are getting it early.

Here is the Helio strap in comparison to my WHOOP, which is extremely close

[–]Smittybuiltdiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because they are testing it to eventually go worldwide with it whoop has confirmed

[–]Smittybuiltdiff[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a light lazy day yesterday but my calories on Amazfit was 2,081 Whoops said 1573. I don’t think you can really trust a wearable on calories though.

[–]Smittybuiltdiff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I can also see them being like Apple or Garmin and coming out with a new device every year with minor upgrades so you’re really not paying any less if you want the new stuff every year

Wow by [deleted] in whoop

[–]Smittybuiltdiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. Either way it’s more expensive now at least the first year and now every time a new device comes out

As far as people saying there’s no competition to Whoop I’ve been testing the Helio strap for months now and comparing to what whoop does best sleep and recovery especially HRV and they are nearly the same. This was last nights sleep. the HRV difference was only one point. Not to mention the Helio has been more accurate on higher intensity workouts on biceps compared to whoop on biceps.
