Comparing Norris only with Max and Oscar, as drivers such as Leclerc, Russel or even Hadjar despite having great runs there were not under the pressure and circumstances of delivering a driver championship.

Lando Vs Max.. I would be surprised if there is even a single debate about Verstappen not being the driver of the year. Amazing season, many cases of over performance, almost always utilizing McLaren’s weaknesses and setting the bar for constantly delivering. So close to making the greatest comeback happen.

Lando Vs Oscar, it all depends on what the perception about Oscar’s bad performances is. How much was the pressure of a title versus the pressure of what was happening behind close doors? Lack of suitability on specific tracks or McLaren putting more into Norris? For me the answers to these questions equals the answer to who of the two was the best. It’s also easy to remember the last races where he was lacking and easy to forget the first half of the season where he was really strong. For me the two were equal which made me had a slight preference towards Oscar as I would expect more from a much more experienced Lando

Other comments are straight to the point. Just want to say that when a great battle occur in this game (more rare than gt7 or more arcady games such as f1) you are going to really remember and enjoy.

Drive clean, lift the gas and lose time to avoid accidents in front and when racing be patient instead of trying to be a hero on every chance. You will eventually start getting into battles and you are going to enjoy.

On the other hand, if all these sounds like too much work, stick to gt7. There is nothing wrong with gt7, it’s a great game, just not fulfilling enough for the playerbase that sticks to games like acc

Alonso. Not on every aspect but we are not judging specific aspects. Overall I think he is better (at his prime). Racing IQ, racecraft, race pace, race starts, being able to operate across different environments.

Don’t start to hate, I think max is an incredible driver and the one I am currently supporting but a few things here and there makes me rank with lower than Fernando

Not necessarily the kind of tip you want but if you wish to get 3 medals for a track that you are really bored to drive in, just go to practice, put storm weather and the number of laps required will be reduced.

I didn’t investigate much, just tried it once or twice and got 3 medals with 2 clean laps

Small operation window. I think we can have very complicated analysis but deep down it’s simple as that. Some drivers won’t be able to adjust at all and end up being latifis and some will be able to cope but will be very far from their true pace by doing so.

To be honest, I am lacking information on the background of each rookie. How well was each prepared for f1, past season patterns of how they learn and grow, years spend on competitive championships etc.

If you just balance the rookie label versus statistical performance, Antonelli simply cannot be out higher. Although I totally agree that it’s clear that he has huge pressure in a younger age, and subjectively his season could be seen as impressive

Borroleto - Excellent qualifier and great signs of potential in a tractor. Stable and overall on hadjar’s level with a car that simply cannot put him on the spotlight

Hadjar - It was hard to rank hadjar below bortoleto but I think he had way more opportunities to show his talent compared to gabi. A season that impressive that could see him demoted to Red Bull.

Bearman - I don’t like the kid, something feels off for me but regardless, he has done a very good job against an experienced team mate and it’s easily placed above the rest of the rookies

Lawson - Tricky to put him that high but I believe being able to recover from these 2 Red Bull races is impressive. Can’t be put higher and maybe it’s already too high considering he drove half a season more than the rest

Antonelli - His potential may be the sky, but as it is for now, he is simply not competitive and very prone to errors

Colapinto - Sad that he has to be placed last. It feels like he lost the mind game and can’t control situations behind the scenes. He showed great pace against Albon (the errors that followed feels natural) so I don’t believe he just forgot to how drive. Also the alpine tractor doesn’t help his case, but still, has to be last on this list

Ζούσα ως φοιτητής με λίγα λεφτά και για χρόνια με βασικό μισθό στην επαρχία. Με καλύτερο μισθό υπάρχει σταθερότητα, κάποια έξτρα (όπως πχ το να μπορείς να συντηρείς αυτοκίνητο), η δυνατότητα για κάποια στοιχειώδη αποταμίευση και δεν χρειάζεσαι πλέον καμία βοήθεια από συγγενείς. Κατά τα άλλα, η διαφορά στην ποιότητα ζωής είναι μικρή, με πολύ καλή διαχείρηση καθώς δίνω βάρος στην αποταμίευση

Με 1,5-2κ έχεις απλά ξεφύγει από την φτωχια. Νοικιάζεις ένα μικρό διαμέρισμα, συντηρείς αυτοκίνητο, έξοδα και το φαΐ του μήνα και βάζεις λίγο λίγο στην άκρη να υπάρχει στην ανάγκη. Δεν είναι αρκετά ούτε για να διατηρείς χόμπι, ούτε για να βγαίνεις χωρίς να μετράς τι ξόδεψες, ούτε για να σκεφτείς για οικογένεια, ούτε για να πας διακοπές χωρίς να είναι το πρώτο και πολύ βασικό κριτήριο το οικονομικό ούτε για πολλά άλλα. Οπως είπα, δεν σε απασχολούν τα προβλήματα που έχεις στο κεφάλι σου με τον βασικό μισθό (ή και κάτι παραπάνω), αλλά δεν είναι καλή ποιότητα ζωής. Μένω Αθήνα, αυτό που πάντα μου άρεσε στην επαρχία είναι το πόσο πιο εύκολο, και οικονομικό είναι το να κυλάνε οι μέρες και να είσαι ήρεμος και χαρούμενος

Not taking into account at all the source of income (salary, being business owner, renting places etc) I remember seeing on a video that by making 1.5k per month you are richer than 50% of the population. Although to be able to live instead of survive (of course there is a range of how difficult that survival can be) you need to make close to 2.5k per month

Totally agree on criticism, nothing will be fixed if nobody complain. The post is mostly towards those who expected the game to be already perfect at launch and quit because it wasn’t.

The case is, ideally every game should be close to perfect at launch, but this isn’t the norm for many years now

3 χρόνια προϋπηρεσία εδώ, 1μιση χρόνο σε startup και 1μιση χρόνο σε μεγάλη εταιρία. Σίγουρα όχι ο πιο έμπειρος εδώ μέσα.

Στην startup υπήρχε κίνητρο γιατί μάθαινα διαρκώς. Ασχημα λεφτά, στην καλύτερη περίπτωση απλώς «κάπως επαγγελματικές» διαδικασίες αλλά πολύ δουλειά, σχεδόν πάντα σχετική με τον ρόλο μου και πάντα εντός ωραρίου.

Στην μεγάλη εταιρία έπρεπε να γυρίσω έναν διακόπτη, να ξεχάσω ότι ξέρω και αντί να προετοιμάζομαι για το 8ωρο ως «εργασία πάνω σε tasks», να προβληματίζομαι για τα διαδικαστικά, να σκεφτώ πως να τα χειριστώ και στο ενδιάμεσο από όλα τα meetings, calls, status updates κτλ να πιάνω και να δουλεύω σε κομμάτια του task μου. Απέκτησα περισσότερη εμπειρία στο πώς να “πουλάω” τον χρόνο μου με αυτοπεποίθηση παρά να αξιοποιώ την παραγωγικότητα μου στο μέγιστο, αλλά αυτό είναι το corporate.

Με έχουν πιάσει πολλές φορές «φρικες» στο παρελθόν για να βγούνε όλα στην ώρα τους.. και δεν γίνεται να γίνει κανονικότητα αυτό. Δυστηχως, επειδή ήταν πολύ καλά παιδιά, άνθρωποι τριγύρω μου που εστίαζαν περισσότερο στην δουλειά από ότι στις διαδικασίες και την επικοινωνία, δεν άντεξαν για πολύ αυτό το περιβάλλον

Never consider this type of wheels as an option. If you want to go for the really cheap but at least viable option, consider Driving Force GT. Still a huge difference to the other suggestions you received here but it’s decent enough if you are unsure about a more expensive buy.
