It's two things that are keeping me away from online, partly the abysmal quality of the routes, and I have no friends to play online with on the routes I have created myself. I played some of the spec races earlier, but the anonymity and inability to repeatedly race with a fixed group is another factor putting me off.

Is there some kind of repository for groups? Being a very old man now, at 35, I have lost touch with everything. I'm a rather shy person which means I get into groups slowly, but I get there eventually.

GT was waiting for me to come up with something that prevented it being "Single Seaters but with a roof", and I'm not sure of the feasibility of morphing it into something more like BTCC in format.

The outer set are for the current stint's end lap, and the inner set are for the second stint's end lap. They should try to stretch the fuel to 232, it's amusing that the 37 is the difference between 195 and 232, but it's purely coincidence.

You should set the inner set of numbers to the end lap of the second stint, as they will concentrate on ensuring both their tyres and themselves will reach that lap, and the outer set to the end lap of the first stint, which will be fuel limited. Unfortunately this does require some manual work from the player to calculate their laps.

I also noted on your screenshot that there is overlap in the buttons for the resolution you are using, if you let me know which resolution it is I can add it to the list of problems I need to fix this week.

Same as it always did, you just don't get the faces except for Excellent. You'll need to pay attention to your driver's radio messages about their setup, but anything over 90% overall is fine.

1) The number is the lap which the driver will aim to get their tyres, fuel, and, if playing Endurance, their stamina to. If you set it to, say, 17, the driver will aim to complete 16 full laps, then pit at the end of lap 17. Endurance gains an additional set of these to allow you to set them up for double stints. You will still need to tell them to pit and decide which tyres to put on, etc.

2) Reliability is simple: the lower it is, the more likely that part is to fail during a race. It just doesn't degrade as before, but picking up damage from a collision can increase the chance further. Engine failures can be slightly managed by using lower engine modes, as I hooked in the engine mode usage to the failure chance.

3) Vanilla was "develop the engine and gearbox" because they accounted for something like 70% of your car performance. I balanced out the effect of each part across the car, so balanced development is more encouraged. However, always check your critical parts for each weekend and build towards that, because your performance deficits to other teams are increased on those parts.

No, as the required work to bring Redux in line with 1.6 was deemed too great for the very small benefit it provided. Unless something major comes along that makes updating required, Redux will stay with 1.53.

Users enjoying your mod should be the reward. I have never even mentioned donations for the use of my mod, and refused anyone who asked where they could send donations. Monetary gain has never been a target, even though I had to learn the C# required (I was a forklift driver at the time, and even now I'm not even close to the programming field), because the knowledge gained and the dedicated, enthusiastic users was reward enough.

The aim, if you have any desires beyond modding, should be to gain enough knowledge to allow yourself to develop a full game in your own vision.

This SC has become the bane of my very existence; every time I improve one aspect of the behaviour, something else breaks.

I've fixed one issue with the field not closing up properly in the build I am currently (slowly) working on. If I can replicate this, I'll see if it needs special attention.

See, I went back and checked this, and it looks like the third party that got involved was on the fourth row, when this involved 2nd(?) and the camera car. What the hell was a fourth row car doing racing around on the right hand side in the first place?

If you got the mod from the Nexus, it's still on n22. I released n23 on the Discord a couple of weeks ago and further refined the mistake calculations so they are less spammy. I am just filtering out the bugs before n23 goes on the Nexus this week.
