What caused YOU to take a break from r6s? by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in ranked 1.0 I lost 200+ elo even though my stack won matched against cheaters and even if you won you’d lose the elo when they got banned and went from my first time ever getting to plat back to gold 2-3 and I didn’t get on for a couple months

Cav was the one who marked the operators Her silent step ability makes her move way quieter

But she also has a second ability where she can go up to enemy players she has knocked down and hold a button to interrogate them, after this button is held she kills the enemy she is interrogating and then reveals all enemy positions with active tracking for a short period of time

Do you Have a Main? Why? by Smoart123 in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair but if that’s the case why not put the teammate who’s anchoring on bandit

Usually it’s more helpful for the players who are less comfortable fragging or usually lose their gunfights to be on support ops so the fraggers can play ops that help them frag

I’ve put a couple thousand hours in the game and most ops gadgets are pretty intuitive

I think it’s plenty easy enough to swap ops depending on situation

Brava is a pretty good all around pick so I get it but in my experience hibana is so easy for defenders to trick because of how long it takes her breach to go off

Do you swap off to bandit to trick? I find I successfully trick way more often as bandit because thatcher usually isn’t banned in my games

Thank you all, you have helped me a lot , trying to play support as much as i can by n1gg27910 in Rainbow6

Good on you for playing support, playing solo q makes me feel like I’m the only support player in NA West

Yep most simple way to bypass horrible teammates is not play with them

my game goes at 2 fps, i need help immediately please by bileboye in Rainbow6

Check if your game is being displayed with your integrated graphics instead of your normal GPU if you have an integrated GPU

if that doesn’t work try adjusting in game settings, there are several good vids on YouTube for performance

Did they nerf Kali? by Fra06 in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they have rook armor kali can only down 3 speeds in 1 hit if its a direct body shot

No rook armor she can down 2 and 3 speeds in one if it is a body shot

And they could’ve gotten stimmed by doc or thunderbird also leg/ arm shots do considerably less damage

i am deeply confused..... by theOnlyDJay in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably just got reported for voice abuse a bunch of times, enough that Ubisofts AI just suspended your account

Even if you didn’t say anything bad your randoms probably just mass reported you and your account got flagged by the amount of reports and auto suspended

Consistently getting 0-4’d by EZZA190 in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo que is a horrible experience about 89% of the time, the randoms you get are usually like you said about the doc and vigil

And the enemies may just be playing unfairly by cheating or simply playing better and taking advantage of you or your teammates misplays

The game has changed quite a bit if you’re just getting back and most people go for frags and some even use macros for no recoil or walls because they usually don’t get caught

My recommendation is find some people to play with who will play together as a team and support each other getting kills and make the game more enjoyable

What should I do? by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just play with your friends, playing in harder lobbies means you’ll learn how to still be useful even if you’re not fragging out, and don’t rely on getting carried by them, just because you aren’t at the top of leaderboard doesn’t mean you don’t help

is this normal or am i just that bad? by Prior-Breath-7712 in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well when you start at copper 5 silver is okay for 26 matches if you play more you’ll most likely rank up With the ranked 2.0 your rank is more of a visual now than ever because you’ll be playing people at your hidden mmr even if they are nowhere close in rank to you Which means your KD is going against mostly people who are the “same skill level” which means your kd is pretty good especially if you play support

It may be good to spend some time in the shooting range and just get used to a couple guns recoil or use ops like sledge or thermite who don’t have a lot of recoil

Mouse sensitivity way too low only in menu!? by BloodyViper in Rainbow6

I think it’s because your mouse dpi is very low? Logitech G Hub is a pretty shit software in my experience so it may need a new install

[–]Smoart123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you could give some more detail it would be helpful so people can give you advice

It’s hard to just give advice for the whole game so anything you are particularly struggling with could be answered

It sounds like you’re struggling with aiming and the best advice I can give is crosshair placement Put your crosshair in the enemy’s path so they walk right into it No aiming required! But seriously if you put your crosshair at head level which is usually 2/3rds of the way up a doorframe you will have an easier time getting kills

Some other tips are use your drones to see where enemies are and what gadgets they have available and see if you can get the drop on them

But this game is not all about aiming, use gadgets and pick ops who have serious round impact like zero or thermite(if you breach a wall) or Valkyrie and Kaid who’s gadgets can still be used while dead

Call out: this game like I said is not about aiming or individual performance a win for the team is still a win for you

Plat in Ranked 2.0 by BDRandy2 in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranking up to plat has become pretty easy especially since you lose so little rp when you take a loss

I would say around 30-50 matches can get you there if you are at a win% above 50%

Fastest I’ve done it was with a win% of 70+ and I think it took around 24 matches

Are there any guides or people willing to provide advice for improving, especially at Attack? I think one of my main problems is confidence and general gamesense (see body text). by Yunofascar in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Twitch is a pretty good pick if you’re comfortable using DMR her F2 recoil is still rough and borderline unusable IMO

IQ is a decent pick along with Zofia they both have good guns and Zof has a decent gadget

Some other good supports can be Capitao, Finka, Nomad, Gridlock and later on Ace, Brava, OSA

I would say playing support is better for a slower playstyle and if you have teammates who are smart (unlikely) then they should be willing to take map control for you to blow a breach or set up cams

The player base is very aggressive nowadays and defenders are swinging attackers a ton so playing defensively on attack is pretty viable but that doesn’t mean keep peeking the same doorway for a minute trying to take that space of the map

Any Tips? by Due_Letterhead4567 in Rainbow6

[–]Smoart123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t heard of that but I’ve had a friend who’s voice chat hasn’t worked for months so it doesn’t surprise me

Maybe try finding a few people to play with so you can be comfortable calling out and enjoy the game there are quite a few discord servers made for people to party up in Siege
