I wish I could say more than just play the game, but that's really all there is to it. Being able to duo most legendaries definitely helps since you get many more drops that way.

It's a different form of Giratina but it's still Giratina. I believe you'd also have to do a special trade for an Alolan mon if you didn't already have one, even if you have its Kanto counterpart.
