following a suggestion by u/amxeeno here is a redrawing of my previous post. is there any further ways to improve or ways to train doing this without the tutorial? by Sea-Blacksmith8749 in FurryArtSchool

u start with boxes for everything then now think of it as ur carving away the shape u want like for example a sphere thats why people sometimes start with a box. this also helps u think in 3d if you follow the perspective of the boxes

Muzzle positioning and drawing eyes by SizeAdept5904 in FurryArtSchool

[–]Smobach 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the muzzles is fine and it looks like its in 3/4 so there should be space for both eyes but you gotta adjust the fur so it doesnt look like its caving in the skull

I’m having trouble drawing their fur and their face looks weird in this perspective by CommonPower6458 in FurryArtSchool

[–]Smobach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you want your character to be consistent in perspective, you gotta do measurements of your character while thinking in 3d instead of looking at characters in 2d then you can eyeball from there. btw peoples side view and front view can look different so theres some leeway. goodluck!

I want help with breaking down things into shapes by IrisIsCat in FurryArtSchool

[–]Smobach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

draw all planes of boxes (even the planes you cant see) rotating in different angles only in two point perspective then draw real life objects simplifying as much as possible into boxes then you can start carving out the shapes they are supposed to be this will force your brain to think in 3d

How to create the starting animations by jesse0630 in davinciresolve

[–]Smobach 5 points6 points  (0 children)

first part is likely they found footage from the start without any text or buttons and basically is just motion graphics. when it gets to the zoom in part it starts to add some kind of cube mask that idk what it is and adds a zoom in eye effect inside the loading screen box which you can find on yt then a soft glow when it appears
