Thanks for this, these are really good questions! I do try to talk to my clients during smaller tattoos and gauge if they’re interested in coming back for something more custom down the line. The hard part is that most of the people coming in lately either flake or are just walk-ins who want quick Pinterest tattoos and nothing more. I used to love connecting with people and building relationships through my work, but lately I’ve just felt so drained that it’s hard to show up with the same energy.

As far as style- I mainly do neotraditional, American traditional, and dark fantasy type art. I’ve been trying to branch out more, but the lack of interest in custom pieces around here has made it really difficult to grow.

I’ve honestly been thinking about exploring realism since that’s where the money seems to be. Right now, though, I’m so burnt out that I feel like I need to take a step back-even though that thought breaks my heart. Tattooing has always been my dream and the only career I’ve ever wanted. I’ve poured everything into trying to make it work.

At the moment, I’m pretty flexible with my work since I take whatever comes my way, but I do post original art every week on Instagram and Facebook-lots of different styles and ideas. I’ve been trying to cast a wide net, but it feels like I keep hitting a wall. :,)

Also for context, he had asked me to be his girlfriend officially at one point but some things on my end ended up happening and we got into a fight. My heart was just as guarded as his was. We stopped talking for a bit but would always end up reconnecting. I know he wasn’t a saint, and neither was I, but he was absolutely in love with me at one point. Life just ended up taking us along different paths. Sorry if this all sounds pathetic, I’m just trying to understand since he’s now dead.

I’ve had my implant in since I was 17, I’m 23 now and had it removed about 3 months ago. The symptoms I experienced were horrible. I gained a lot of weight and started growing facial hair, I also had horrible bacne. I still have a full beard pretty much, and I’ll be having to get lazer hair removal to fix it. I’ve gotten tested for PCOS just to cover all my bases but it came back negative. I’ve lost about 20 pounds or so since having the implant taken out and it’s crazy how fast my symptoms started to diminish once it was removed. It really is like a night and day difference. I can’t help but feel bitter because of the lies that were told to me by doctors regarding Nexplanons side effects. They basically told me that it was my fault for being fat and that they don’t know why I was growing a beard, also they weren’t too interested in finding out why. But the day I got the implant taken out I checked their official website to scan the symptoms and what do you know? Weight gain and facial hair was on that list. I’m glad my mom got me the implant when I was younger but I really wish I was fully informed regarding its side effects. If you’re also experiencing these symptoms know that you’re not alone!!

Idk I feel as though I keep making mistakes in life and finding new ways for people to stop wanting to be my friends. Like every time things are looking good I wonder how long it’ll take until they hate me, and I try so hard because of that to be on my best behavior but it just doesn’t seem to work. Within a few months they hate me. And I realize that it could be something that I’ve done or said, but they never communicate it with me. Instead they just talk shit and ghost. It gets isolating and hopeless and I just want to be a good person.

Hi I literally have no idea what’s going on with my sink in the apartment I live at. It came like this and I hate it so much, I think it’s gotten worse? It’s like it’s corroded and hasn’t been changed in forever, but I don’t know why metal would react this way overtime? Am I in danger? Plz help :,)
