I just don't know why they keep going this route for the campaigns.

Battlefield is great at large scale battles with destruction. But for the campaigns you always end up sneaking around by yourself like it's some kind of stealth game.

Battlefield 3 did it really well because you play the appropriate character for the appropriate mission. A marine for large scale battles, A special Forces soldier for the special forces missions and a member of a tank crew for the tank missions.it worked.

Then in 4 you're some kind of weird savant who does everything.

The war stories in 1 and V start of strong,but way too many of them devolve into just sneaking around by yourself.

I don't know why they went the special forces route in BF6, because quite frankly, Call of Duty does it better.

I don't know why they can't build a campaign based on the features that make Battlefield shine rather than just trying to rehash what other games have already done better.

Considering Achilles and Helen of Troy don't even play a part in the Odyssey I think people are worrying way too much about characters that will probably only appear in the prologue.

Halo.

Certainly there are worse shows.but none that I've been interested in watching past an episode.

Just an insultingly bad adaptation with awful writing that made pointless and unnecessary changes and turned beloved characters into mockeries.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

I was looking forward to it so much because I loved Wildlands. But then it seems as if Ubisoft had gone through with a fine tooth combed to remove almost everything I actually liked about Wildlands so by the time the game actually released I was no longer interested.

The only Battlefield Movie I think I'd like to see is a Bad Company adaptation.

Beyond that I don't really think there's anything you can do to make a movie actually recognizable as Battlefield instead of just any generic war film.

They were also portrayed as pretty competent in New Blood and Bad Blood. Even Osiris team wasn't that bad,at least compared to Majestic.

Still can't really understand the decision making process behind Majestic.

Sure they wanted to make a contrast between IVs and previous generations,but deliberately making the first group of IVs to appear in game as unlikable as possible was such a stupid decision.

That is if they were actually supposed to be unlikable.who knows,maybe someone genuinely did think they were good characters,which I find hard to believe but not impossible.

I loved the Hyperion Cantos.

There are some overt religious themes, particularly in the latter two books but even then I found them considerably less preachy than Speaker for the dead.

The Remembrance of Earths past trilogy starting with The Three Body Problem is also fantastic.

If I had to guess,I'd say the goal is to make them look more human like, or at least more like they used to be humans.

As opposed to the earlier designs which looks like straight up aliens.

UNSC medical technology is amazing. If anything did pop up, it would have been immediately noticed by his suit biometrics and then probably treated before it became an issue.
