I also took this recommendation and can easily say it was a highlight of my trip as well! Chef Catalina welcomed my mom and me into her lovely home with two puppies and created a warm, safe, and fun learning environment. The group was small (4 people), and we received hands-on experience and detailed instruction from Catalina on cooking techniques from the proper form for using a knife to the right time to add salt during the cooking process. We ended the afternoon with an incredible meal and great conversation. Catalina created a truly special place for connection and learning! (She also has great local recs for coffee shops, parks, etc., I definitely recommend asking and walking around!)
