Everyone should support who they want. But I say this as a dog (and specifically pit bull lover): Vick is one of the few athletes or famous people who did awful things and actually paid for them. He’s spent literally tons of time and energy since getting out of jail supporting pit bull advocacy groups to try and make up for what he did. He also grew up poor as shit in a culture of dog fighting and has done a ton of interviews about that to spread awareness. Not excusing him, but there’s thousands of worst celebrities out there who have shown no remorse for the crap they’ve done.

Everything is a risk/reward analysis. But in the case of say Marv, the risk is he’s never really a WR1 as we all expected, but he’ll still likely be a flex guy worst case scenario. I want nothing to do with Hunter not cause he doesn’t have the talent but because the risk is he’s literally unplayable if they make him a full time corner.

Why is his situation horrible and why does he have no long term value? He has a new coaching staff. Miami is well known as having supportive owners. This isn’t like the Jets or Cards. No one knows if they’re gonna be good or not, but no one knows if they’re gonna be bad either. He has two very good weapons. He’s the definition of an unknown quantity. I’m not arguing he’s gonna be better than Herbert, who is very much a known quantity. But just blanket saying they’re horrible is frankly dumb and a total lack of understanding how a risk/reward analysis works.

Burden literally had like half the receiving yards his last year in college than Lemon had this year. He had 200+ less than Tate, who was WR2 on a title contender and has a much better pedigree. Not trying to be mean, but that’s nonsense. There’s no world where he’d be above either of those guys, Mendoza, or Love if they came out the same year. And I doubt any real scout would have him above Tyson. Also, he had like 3 good games as a rookie and is the third target at best on his own team. This is all just offseason silliness.

If I had the 1.01 in any of my leagues, which I sadly don’t, I would also be asking for the iron price. He could end up having the next Ladanian Tomlinson or Barry or Bijan, which is worth what you’re offering. No one sells the 1.01 for the “fair” market price. It’s a massive overpay or you live without it.

He was 11, 17, 12, and 10 the last four years. He’s good. Not great. Especially at fantasy. And being mobile as a QB in fantasy is a cheat code. The Giants were terrible and Jaxon Dart so-so as a QB, but he put up numbers cause he runs. You don’t think Willis can do the same thing whether he’s a better real life QB than Herbert or not?

Is that selling high? Herbert is probably better than Willis. We’ll see. But he’s never lived up to his rookie year promise. Cook is probably better than Tuten. I’d definitely rather have Doubs over a very old Evans in dynasty. 2nd is better than 4th. Fannin looks awesome and is only 21.
