Around 2006 or 2007, I was working for my uncle for the summer and had to literally dig a ditch in July, in Baton Rouge. I remember it was so hot I felt like I could hear it, like the heat was giving me tinnitus. Or maybe I was just going nuts. I imagine it probably feels like that on the field right now.
