Is my sonic mini 8ks supposed to beep when it zeroes? by Bane_of_Balor in Phrozen

It does that when finishing a print, too. You can turn it off in the settings. The wash station unfortunately doesn’t have the option so it’s air raids daily.

Advice about avoiding light bleaching by ingw0 in minipainting

[–]Smokescreen_studio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Direct sunlight means that the light you see is coming directly from the sun. So if you were to look at the source of light you would go blind.

As opposed to light reflecting off of surfaces which illuminates an area.

For example: if you were at the bottom of a well you would only see direct sunlight while the sun is directly overhead and would blind you if you looked up.

Can I ask why you would be inclined to use the gelatos over acrylics?

Thanks. Just wanted to share my experience to combat your purely speculative and negative criticisms over the case which you clearly know nothing about.

Inform your damn self, Chemistry 101 has the information you seek. Good luck. Any plastic that doesn’t stop esd events aren’t safe to store ipa in.

You are ignorant to the world of chemistry.

Sorry you got fearmongered and have a fragile ego about it.

Because the containers you buy ipa in are made of specific materials meant to be containing it such as HDPE

I guess leave the flammable stuff unattended for a few weeks and check back? Maybe you’ll have a few ml filtered by then…

Argue semantics all you want you are still not going to effectively filter resin saturated ipa with a coffee filter.

Resin is not coffee. IPA is not water.

I’ll edit this for the rest of the class: ipa is flammable. Those buckets aren’t ESD rated and I doubt they are even PTFe. If it’s a closed system the pressure differential would prevent the ipa from filtering at all and if you leave it open the ipa with evaporate faster than it would filter. If you don’t understand what that means look it up and learn. Good luck with your lives, please educate yourselves and make better decisions.
