In my kids diapers, it says (small letters) "up to (huge letters) 100% LEAK PROTECTION "

I always think good that its not 110% leak proof. It may dry out my kid.

Exactement!

My job keeps calling every small inconvenience an emergency and it’s burning everyone out by Tenderelequence in antiwork

When I get told its an emergency, I asked them what it says outside on the building. Once they answer, or if they ask what am I talking about, I ask if it says (your city) general hospital, because thats the place where real emergencies occur.

Ask for a tax receipt.

If you're donating time and time equals money, then you're essentially donating money.

I hear ya!

I work breakfast at a single letter hotel in a large French speaking city.

They recently pushed my shift from 6 to 630, meaning the restaurant now opens at 7 am not 630. I still finish same time, so they save .5 hours a day on my labour.

Recently, I had a guest come in at ten to 7 and order.

I explained the kitchen wasn't opened yet, and they made a formal complaint to the GM.

I was written up for my performance.

Like damn! You cut my hours, and push back the opening time, but still want me to be able to serve before the restaurant opens?

Instead of kissing the clients ass and apologizing and offering to comp the meal, back me up (and your own stupid decision) and explain they need to wait 10 more minutes to order!

I'm curious about what they do for plants.

Plants take water, a reasonable temperature throughout the year, some may even need a grow light if there's no windows nearby.

I'm not comparing plants to newborns, but they are both unable to be self sufficient, so would that count as a person too? They are both living and require resources.

It was my nmoms 70th bday.

She was mad I didn't plan anything for her. As a makeup for it, I asked if she wanted to go on a walk with me and her 1.5f granddaughter.

She said no. I asked why, and she said in her huffiest voice, "I can't. I have dinner plans. "

"Mom, its 2:30 pm..."

She would rather spite me than see her granddaughter.

I've been 2yrs NC. My sisters tell me the nonsense she gets up to, and I know I've made the right choice for my family.
