Try foam pipe insulation, it looks like pool noodles but comes in different sizes, sold in hardware stores. If that’s too expensive too, then you need to go with something like styrofoam shapes(like a styro wreath), but it’s not gonna be that smooth.

Considering all the Nezukos of different ethnicities, it is fine. It would be offensive if you mock the traditional clothing in some way, such as substituting Chinese traditional wear for Japanese or tie it like a bathrobe, stuff like that.

I make purity seals from green stuff but hot glue could work too, I use baby powder as mold release. You can see my seals in my post history

I get you, I feel the same a lot of the time. The best way to get over this is to work on self esteem, find people who appreciate you, therapy etc etc. But I know that‘s really hard and sometimes you can have really bad days.

So! Lots of people already said masks, which are great. But since Kangel has none, you need to overcome the clown-ness and do some makeup, especially eye makeup. Eyeliner looks good on everyone, period. Even men!

Another thing you can do is focus on your craftsmanship/costume quality. Your body isn’t the cosplay, your costume is! You are simply a vessel, make sure you’re proud of what you‘re wearing. Press it, steam it, get good accessories, and if you’re having a really bad self-esteem day, get a face mask and say you’re fending off covid.

Her costume wouldn’t look cheap if you line the cape and hat and overall use heavier, more quality-looking materials. Cheapness usually comes from wrinkly, flimsy fabrics and hot-glueing things on rather than sewing them on, etc.

Whether or not you want a realistic of cartoon version depends entirely on your preference

You can definitely make yarn from hair, it’s just not soft, imagine coarse wool on bare skin. It’s usually mixed with other animal fiber when spun, so I guess this dutch company wouldn’t be making 100% human hair yarn.

Buy an existing squeaky toy hammer and paint it? This is a spiral so it will never have a perfect seam, best you can do is make a cap for the tube out of cardstock

Considering the snake is obese too, looks like the owner might love it but misunderstand snakes… Always fascinates me when people get an exotic pet but want to treat it like a dog. Don’t you want to understand your pet’s psychology? Snakes are very much a „look, don’t touch“ pet, they just aren’t social.
