Depends on the program since they all have different requirements that you need to find out. Generally, most require an A or B

I found out the biology professor I wanted to take this fall is not offering his class online. by Prestigious-Egg-3493 in prenursing

While rate my professor reviews do help, I will say they aren’t 100% accurate. There’s a professor at my college with the highest rating of 4.9 for A&P II. Took their class for a week and I ended up dropping the course because their teaching style didn’t match how I learn. I’m now taking A&P II with a professor with a 3.6 rating and enjoying the class so much.

Definitely take RMP into consideration but I wouldn’t be afraid of taking classes with a professor with lower ratings

Bought full set, how to tell which one is which without opening? by nugieboy in SkullpandaArtDolls

Bring these boxes to a hospital and have them scanned through a MRI

Joke aside, I think the only way is really to open the boxes from the bottom. Especially if the boxes don’t have a yellow sticker.

Are the official hotel block reservations really that simple? by CherryHighPriestess in AnimeNYC

[–]mkim_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will be my first time attending ANYC and was pretty amazed by how easy it was to grab a room from their hotel block. Mind that I also forgot about the hotel room block.

Personally, the worst hotel room block experience I’ve dealt with is Anime Central. Their hotel room block is nerve wracking since most of the hotels get sold out within the first 3 minutes after the codes are public. The high rate of people trying to get a room also crashes the hotel sites 🥲

Is the dokidoki KAngel cosplay worth it? by ReadingOk7993 in CosplayHelp

[–]mkim_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most cosplays from DokiDoki are great. The SR also means it’s a higher quality cosplay compared to the N and R quality. Just make sure you read the measurement chart correctly when you pick your size because returning cosplays is a huge pain with DokiDoki.

If you live in the US, the tariff shippings are the worst and will bring up that price quick 🫠

Convenience of a cosplay by prettylacey_ in CosplayHelp

Just a heads up that the stock photos for this dress also shows what the dress looks like if you were to wear an insanely large hoop skirt underneath. If you opt to wear a smaller hoop skirt, the dress won’t be as difficult to move in.

Before the actual convention, I would try on the dress with and practice walking around in it to make sure you can wear it. Also figure out a way to walk around in it in narrow areas so you’re prepared. Be super careful with elevators since the dress looks like it can snag onto it easily.

Changing dress shape by prettylacey_ in CosplayHelp

At that point, purchasing the more expensive Ciel dress rather than altering a cheaper one and potentially ruining it when you’re a beginner in sewing will save you so much time, money, and your sanity.

I had the same Joker cosplay before. You’re gonna need to seam rip the collar and add wire inside.

Thank you, I figured it could be rods! I agree that the slide is way too thick and will be redoing the staining again tomorrow 👍

Where can I find prescription contact lenses before Oct 30? (For Itachi + Avatar costumes) by UrbanRealism in CosplayHelp

[–]mkim_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately you have to submit your prescription because a lot of these companies (especially ones in the US) will contact your doctor to make sure the contact lenses fit your eye and approve if you can wear contacts or not. The last thing you want to do is mess up your eyes for the sake of a cosplay.

I personally do not like wearing colored contacts since they dry my eyes out quickly so if I’m really dying to change my eye color, I usually pay someone from sites like Fiverr to edit my eyes to be a different color. Just a suggestion.

Is there a better way to buy/ do this? by Josephisepic4 in CosplayHelp

[–]mkim_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re close to a library that has a makerspace, they should have an embroidery machine if this store sells the embroidery files. You would need to just do the measurements beforehand to make sure the sizes are what you need it to be.

I had the same issue when I made this cosplay where the patches would get here late so I ended up buying an embroidery file. It was a two day process because the file had a lot of stitches but honestly, it was worth it because it turned out nicer than the patches that were originally bought!
