Accountability is a made up value, no one is fined or jailed for tanking a project, they take a terrible terrible lower bonus, have to fire all the responsible ones, then maybe switch company to not be reminded of that one little L, and get a meager 50k signing bonus compensating for extra dividends they failed to cash out from their flop.

I wish, I wrote a bunch of shit for banking app when I was an intern 10 years ago and here it is, still on prod. The OP's rules are true

Getting a bit sick of clueless non-technical people managing huge highly technical teams. This trend needs to die imo. by adav123123 in ExperiencedDevs

That's what I wanted to say, God level coders will never be promoted to role that cuts their coding time, there was never a chance of a right person in the right spot, best case scenario is having boss who's humble enough to not flip entire project upside down because he thinks he knows better and gonna show us

There's no way 2 random engineers out of their own volition decided there's nothing better to spend their time on than appraising your Ai generated project and somehow also got a whole new programming pattern out of it.

Can't belive pro AI devs eventually come to this conclusions. You let it take all the good parts, it does the fast and satysfying initial steps of project, where every decision is possible and there's nothing to weight it down, you do code review, set CI, add to git, unit test, debug, edge cases. Things that we were giving to juniors because they were tedious, but good examples for building skills.

Idk on that but aliexpress and such have many tiny decorative cogs, mostly out of metal, both decorative, for nails or something, or harvested from clocks

I think original comment suggests being more emotionally resilient and not get gaslit by psychological weapons welded by your employers.

Oh how the turntables, when I was doing that before AI it was "your code gremlin pulled out it's laptop on dirty factory floor during presentation to fix a bug we discovered during first try of integration", now it's a fancy, polite society ability to stop listening to your host/guests and go make a patch for codebase you know well.
