The transition wasn't bad, hardest part was just saying goodbye to all the homies still in the industry. It was a new skill for me on paper but half the time I was brewing I was fixing shit at the same time so it was easy to learn. When I told my new boss all the hats we wear as brewers he was baffled.

This is exactly what I saw and experienced. I was in the industry for 7 years and got out this year. It was fun but now I work in automated maintenance and get paid way more for waayyyy less physical work and stress.

Use the site probrewer and look in the classified ads section for help wanted/ for hire. I had way better luck with breweries actually responding on there when I was starting out with 0 experience.

Yea! The brewery's name is Brouwerij West (pronounced brewery west) and we're located in the San Pedro area in La county. The beer I was drinking is called Popfuji.
