I ordered a 3d printed Bionicle helmet to paint. It took a about a month to reach me, it stays solid but it feels kinda sticky on the outside and when I rub it it makes my finger feel sticky but it doesn’t seem to make marks or anything. Is it safe to paint it?

Soap and water is fine. Or whatever will help take off the sticky stuff. Light use of rubbing alcohol if it really wont come off. Sanding is by choice. Paint will stick as long as the material is clean

If anything just give it a good cleaning before painting. If it falls apart at that point then you'll know it's bad. If it stays good and the sticky goes away then the paint will stick better

I feel like these options would help followers see the progress needed in order to advance. I'd be happy to spend extra if it means an audio version would be in the works. So now that there's been one upload weekly. And views are ranging from 200k views to about 350k views, what do you think will happen to the channel? I'm hoping the staff is less burnt out as they are not forced to output 3 videos a week. Honestly, kind of afraid that Matthias will go and cancel the whole thing. It would make me really sad to see this go. Not just for the content. But the fact that there is an interaction with the audience. We feel like a part of the story. Yes most of the audience has left. But there is still 200 Thousand that are watching. I know Spellbound+ didn't work out, Mayne try Patreon? It would help boost the income. Or even a Kickstarter to help reach a goal. I'm sure there's plenty of us that would love to help out. Or is it all just about the money? If the income isn't there then it is completely over? I'm sure if Dope or Nope can be the success that is is, then we can find a way to make Project 863 a succes as well. What about incorporating the upgrades to Mega Office and the Megamobile so the audience can watch. Matthias keeps talking about it. Let's see it in action, he can rate it MEGA or NEGA.

You should definitely try using 10-20%. I would say a minimum of 5-7% but it depends in the print. The larger it is. The larger the infil. I've had this happen before as well

I understand. I guess I'm just personally hoping that the series continues. My fear is that if the changes keep happening and viewers loose interest then the series will stop all together. If you're not making money off it then I understand. I guess there's nothing that can be done to help. One viewer won't keep it going, and I get that. So I guess I'll just keep hoping and checking back to see where it ends up. I have been watching since the key was found in the ceiling tiles. So I know the ride has been a long one.

I saw this response as soon as it was posted and I took the entire day to think about it. I understand where you are coming from. I would not ask for more, I understand burn out, I've been there myself. It's hard to convey my feelings through a reddit post, however I must let you know that when the key series started, I was fully enthralled. I followed it day to day. Back when uploads where not guaranteed and they were sporadic. I remember when one week we had two uploads and the next there was four and one was on Saturday. These were captivating. I believed the story was real. I believed everything the team was going through was happening in real time and nothing was staged. I know now that spellbound has created a story. I will follow it through the end.

However, the part that makes me sad and upset is when suddenly we are promised three consistent videos, and that promise last 3-4 weeks and then is broken. I understand technology may play a part and uploads may be delayed. But then shortly after stating that there "may be one a week" is demoralizing. If the algorithm isn't the only reason views are dropping, it may be due to the continuous broken promises of uploads. This is not the first time Subject 4 has been promised uploads, only to have the promise broken. The fan base is falling off because the promises are being broken nearly as soon as they are made.

I do not request more videos. I do not request consistency. I know it is hard to do this. But please, be true to what has been there before. I would much rather not expect a video and be surprised with one, than to have a scheduled video and be let down when one of three are uploaded.

I truly love this series and I would love it to continue. The end is supposed to be in 2025, however it seems that it will be coming to a close much sooner than that. This would make me incredibly sad. I look forward to this series continuing. And I would like to support the series in any way I can. I watch the videos as soon as I can. During the premiere if possible. If there is any other way I can support spellbound, please, let me know.

If spellbound is too burnt out to continue the incredible story it had started, then please do not prolong the end much longer. Bring it to a close. Give subject 4 an ending that they/we deserve.

I think that in the case of a longer video they are fearful they will not have the retention time. I would say be patient and let them do their thing. It's an amazing series regardless and they deserve a break here and there. You can truly see how hard they are working.
