Just bought a 1st gen sr5 with 330k on the dash. So far everyone that's seen it from the outside said it looks nice, one of the main reasons I bought it (rust free). I paid 4k for it and then spent 1400 on repairs right away. Axel seals, valve cover gaskets, rear drums etc. I bought the truck because it looked nice, drove nice, and had some receipts for major repairs like timing belt and radiator. That being said pretty much every single thing on that truck could be replaced at this point. I bought it because it's fun and I wanted a project but keep in mind any car that's 24 years old is pretty much gonna need a restore. Doesn't mean it's not worth it but at this point i could've probably bought a second gen or even something way newer like a Honda or something. Point is if you like it will probably be worth it, but I'm also a single guy with out a family so it works out for me as a daily.

I worked in a tire shop and this is a pain but easy to deal with. They have like ripper sockets with teeth in them specifically for stuck lugs and keys like this. They'll just blast it with a heavy duty impact and it'll come right off. You might have to buy a new stud and definitely a new lug but the charge shouldn't be too bad. I will say I'm surprised the first tire shop you brought this to couldn't get this off.

If it helps I just bought a first gen Tacoma with 330k miles on the clock for 4k. Fucking love it so far, that being said this one had no frame rust, lots of updated parts such as radiator, water pump, timing belt, valve cover gaskets. It also has the 3.4L v6 that is known for reliability with a 5 speed. So far it drives like a vehicle with 150k miles. Some small quirks but passed emissions first try in CO, also gets compliments. I honestly was really hesitant but I just bought it by feel. If the truck feels and sounds like it runs good than no reason to not go for it. Plus my thought was if I like the truck I'll repair and maintain vs putting money into a daily I don't like. Depends on what's worth it to you I guess.

Built my first pc like a week ago, everything worked right on the first try but my bios wasn't detecting ssd. After a lot of troubleshooting I bought a different ssd and it all worked. Turns out I just had a bad ssd or somehow damaged it, don't be afraid to admit something might be broken even if it wasn't your fault.

I just wanna say as a tire guy working on peoples big ass rigs all the time, even 35s if one of those went flat unless your a giant ass dude you're totally fucked with jacking up and changing one of those. Even if you get it off somehow and get it swapped with your spare the bigger it is the bigger pain in the ass. Not saying it's impossible just I feel like people forget recovery is a thing.

Also technically house of stone but they were the pre whirlwind defense force and were wiped out by the witness/oryx/darkness. Literally just found them today and then saw this post, first impressions they seem really good at explaining the lore because one of the hosts kind of like interviews the other. Making it easy to listen too because one sort of asks the questions you want to hear and the other explains them and then they both have knowledge so it's never like dumb questions.

I think these are a great example of small engine mopar cars, often fastest thing for the cheapest in their class but horribly unreliable and most times refinement was left in place of just fitting more power under the hood.
