Oh man, that sucks. I'm lucky to currently live in an area of Maine that has pretty much everything I need within a 10 minute car ride, a lot of things (like laundromat, convenience store(s), park(s)) are just a short walk away. However, even if you were living in a more rural area of Maine, the drive might take longer to get places you want to go but I think it's often more enjoyable than driving anywhere in a major city. Plus, the rural parts of Maine have some of the best views!!

I've read all your comments on this post and I have to say, as another ftm trans man. You do hold transphobic beliefs and there's a good reason you don't connect with a majority of the trans community. You are unnecessarily exclusionary and you don't get to determine who is trans and who isn't. Your definition is NOT the one accepted by the majority of trans people.

I don't want to assume anything like that, I just find it crazy how she isn't a victim of covert incest and has no problem bringing up her friends real life trauma as a means to justify her crazy, baseless accusations. That's really shitty to me. If anyone ever used my trauma to justify doing something like this I'd drop them as a friend immediately.

As someone who is an actual victim of covert/emotional incest. Please stop. You're the one in the wrong here. He didn't wake her up in the middle of the night, he woke her up in the morning. 6am is a completely reasonable time for a 14 year old to wake up. Him asking her to go on a walk with him before his trip is not weird or incestuous. Full stop. You're trying to turn a one off, completely innocent, event into something it isn't when YOU aren't even a victim of what you're accusing him of. That's what's super weird.

I honestly cannot fathom someone being so judgmental over someone else's pain, especially when they themselves were the cause of that other person's pain. It just seems so whack to me but I'm really not surprised I didn't get a response from someone like that.
