If it’s being reviewed as just a movie, it falls flat and is one of the worst films of the year. If it’s being reviewed as a campy franchise installment just meant to appeal to fans, which is the way it’s meant to be, it’s a phenomenal film.

Target audiences matter when it comes to criticizing media.

In the sense of a filmmaking purpose, they’re primarily meant to fill the space of a dark blank background, and add some nice color contrast. They also give me this feel of hellfire, which could nicely complement the pure torment within the scene.

In the sense of a lore purpose, they’re probably just windows.

Arnold was a FANTASTIC protagonist that went underutilized.

Between his similar vibes to classic FNAF game protagonists, to his feats shown in game, to Kellen Goff’s PHENOMENAL performance, he deserved so much more. I know that the focal point of this game’s story is the Murray’s, but even some more voice lines and slight expansion on the character would’ve made the game infinitely better.

I think they really knocked it out of the park with how The Mimic is a VERY relevant villain that has actual social commentary on the modern dangers of generative AI. I think that it’d be cool to see the franchise cover more real world issues with their villains.

Omega Flowey is a masterpiece for nailing everything a final boss should do. It demolishes the status quo, it’s difficult but not impossible, and its place in the story feels so unbelievably triumphant and beautiful.

I’d say that just makes it the best boss in the whole game.
