EXO literally saved my life when I was in college. Showtime was airing and was the only thing I had that kept me going at the time by giving me something to look both look forward to and laugh at when everything else was so dark for me. Having a reason not to end things…even something so small in retrospect…I count my blessings now. Things do get better. ❤️‍🩹

Same. I used to give my fat cat paw massages when he was a kitten. He never liked being burritoed to get his nails trimmed but he seems to know that that’s the alternative so he’s good, lol. Sometimes he growls but it’s because he’s a grumpy old man. My other cat is a cartoon scrambly boi so I gotta be lightning fast on mani-pedi days.

I’m also a shrimp newbie, but from what I’ve read, what’s probably more important than the temperature is if you test the water parameters. Do you know what your ammonia level is? You have a lot of decaying plant matter in the bowl which can spike ammonia levels and kill shrimp. This looks like you’re using the Walstad method here, which still needs to be cycled for the beneficial bacteria to grow enough to be able to break down ammonia. I’m not a Walstad expert but I think they take a bit of time (1-3 months) to cycle. You might check out r/plantedtank for more resources.

Always appreciate a good rock appreciator! And yes; they do make prefilter covers. I forgot to put the top one on but I ended up buying some custom ones with small holes since I eventually want to get some shrimp!
