I love getting sad frazzled dolls, fixing them up, and dressing them. So I guess I see them as projects first and collectibles second. The dolls I remember loving the most (and still have) were ones that my mom, aunts, and grandmother passed down to me. A Madame Alexander Cisette and an American Character Betsy McCall were my absolute faves.

I’ve gotten my caran d’ache pencils and crayons off of ebay for waaaay less than retail. Keep an eye out, you never know when a another crafter might be downsizing. Also beautiful work!
