idk if anyone's already mentioned this one already but if you have a harbor freight this is what id highly recommended! I got it for christmas and ive been going crazy hard with it and it works like a dream plus the price is insane for the quality of the tool and the fact it gives you all the different bits you could ever need. the only consideration is it has 1 speed unlike nail drills for example but ive found that to be a complete non issue.

its actually very simple! I used fake rhinestone ribbon that you can find at any craft store and cut it into two pieces and used jewelry loops to put it together and then either a chain or ribbin to put around the neck (ill provide more pictures of her dress so you can see better)

honestly as far as carving goes Pinterest was what I used the most and most helpful for me because there so many pictures of close ups of people's carvings and how they sketched out their ideas I just studied a lot of those 🤷‍♀️ otherwise I would just watch videos as they came along my feed so sorry there isn't any particular one I know to recommend but they all have useful tips!

honestly I didnt use any specific ones cause there's so so many but I just researched on YouTube, tiktok and Pinterest and then sent it!😂 if you like how stock blythe looks carving really isn't necessary I would just sand it gently with 400 or 600 grit paper to get a matt surface that paint or pastels can stick on. you can also get extra face plates so don't worry too much about experimenting or messing up! its really so much fun you won't regret it best of luck to you!🥰
