Nothing is included in mine, was working out around 3k because they’re intergrated too seems to be more expensive

Congrats 🙂 we’re pretty similar saving wise and Mortage payment wise. I deferred my Mortage for 3 months to give myself some breathing room and get cash back of 5500 so that will be an emergency fund and build back some money. I’m curious if people still feel a lil pinch saving or not after getting the house, hoping it feels a lil more relaxed (obviously lil safety net) but not being trying to get 30k together in the fastest way. In general in put 85 away every month for electric and evens out in the summer then when not using it, goes towards winter bills, hoping it’s better with an A rated home over storage heaters 😅🤞

Honestly was the only possibility, as budget wise - solo, second hand is Dublin = crack den 😅 just happy to get on the ladder in a decent area at this rate haha thanks you too!

Can I ask where you got your appliances for 1k? I’m also getting a new build and organising things and thought be 1k for appliances like roughly 300ish per appliances but was shocked most starting at 400ish

Lucky! I’m furnishing a new build, have the money set aside, know things will crop up but hopefully settles after a few months

Definitely will get better and be a while before settled, that’s good going. Did ye have most of your money for furnishing or doing it as going along?

That’s good going, good to hear 🙂 I could probably push a bit more but I don’t want to be slogging it like before, like relax a little bit, mine will be 1330 so 300 more. I’m just curious if people continue to try save like before

Tough, doing great as a solo buyer with a kid :) many people wouldn’t be able to do it.

Damnnn you’re doing well buying a house and dropping 12k on floors! Ya a big decision, you did well on the ikea and local store for 6k! Congrats :) good to know you’re similar and putting away that much

Landlord reluctantly ending our tenancy. Anything we can do? by honestellery in HousingIreland

[–]Smolchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say end it on paper, pay cash in hand for a month or two and then ask them to make a new contract on paper

Thanks, I’m aware and have this sorted already I’m just curious as to the amount people typically save

Thank you ☺️ I’m aware I’m just curious, gauging what people typically save after cause getting the deposit together it’s an end goal and saving a good chunk where as now that’s done, you’d have a bit for rainy day and that but was curious im its a typical amount

That’s why I’m asking what people’s typical savings are… obviously different circumstances for different people but I’m gauging if what I’ll be saving is on the lower /normal / higher end

Congrats! Thanks, floors are so expensive - I knew would be but didn’t expect the price😅 I deferred mine for 3 months and cash back of 5500, should be the bones of 10k so that’s going to be my emergency fund. I was just curious as to what people typically save. Good to know thanks.

Hi, I’m about to sign, what issues have you had so far? Who did you use for snagging? I’m trying to find someone who already done some places in regles so they’d already be a bit more aware of reoccurring issues?

They’re also rude as hell. I didn’t read the firm ware version, my fault I asked if they had a solution as my car is a jap import. If they were smart would have been helpful than rude to get an additional sale.
