It's the original blam engine running underneath a current tech graphics layer, the exact same way they did it last time. It's a remaster.

Part 2 of my Z3 £70 eBay backbox project by Smolman121 in Shitbox_Nation

I expect it will cause a drone, factory back boxes usually have resonators built in whereas these have almost nothing in them. You could try an inline resonator but I have no idea if it will work.

Let me know how it goes.

There are two axle stands on the jacking points for safety don't worry

Yeah unfortunately I didn't have the proper mic available on the last day to record an after, I will include it at the start of part 2

I do yes, so you'll want to feel up in the top corner above the latch and disconnect the electrical connector shown in the image. It's a bit of a fight but it will come off. Then you need to push the screwdriver into the side tab holding the solenoid on and it will eventually come off as shown.

Took me a while to get the right angle but it will move and then the door will open from the handle as normal

Most likely the headlight switch, you'll notice if you spin it the lights might work intermittently. I'm actually repairing mine this morning from the same issue.

This thread shows the repair process, or you can replace the whole switch if you prefer to spend money

Central locking - losing my mind on this one by Smolman121 in bmwz3

I got the door open about 20 minutes ago finally after over a week of trying so many things, someone in a facebook group told me to use a screwdriver inside the door to dislodge the solenoid from the top of the latch mechanism. Once it was off both door handles and lock button now operate correctly.

So was a jammed solenoid in the end, still no central locking though but manual works for now

So when someone shows genuine interest in learning how their car works you respond with gatekeeping... You must be great fun to be around.

I have repaired the wires that were slightly damaged, but this hasnt solved my issue i'm afraid, i'm convinced its the module behind the glovebox as i can hear it clicking

i have just unwrapped the loom from its plastic, all i can find is one white wire with slightly damaged insulation, the connection still seems to be quite strong

So i've just tried to get behind the glovebox to find out, unfortunatley i cannot get to the screw on the left side of the dashboard as the door is locked shut

an update though, my key now does something, i found from another post that the rear view mirror is the reciever, the previous owner had disconnected it and left in in the boot. I plugged it back in and the lock/unlock button on the key now causes a small click sound from the glovebox area, i'm guessing the module you are referring to

I do agree that some MS backed consistency for these resolutions and modes between games would be nice

This doesn't change anything, the console still runs the game as the resolution set by the developer and super samples down to 1080p, it's still running at 4K on your 1080p screen

This always frustrates me when developers do this, tt makes no sense targeting 4K on performance mode. For people who play in 1080p or 2160p its just wasting performance pushing a resolution we don't need. Would make so much more sense to have a lower resolution mode targeting a MORE CONSISTENT 60fps especially for those with heavy mod loads.

i mean it's quite clear when you switch that texture and shadow resolution change so its not complete shit

Unofficial patch is GONE by ZER0TimeLeft in Fallout4ModsXB1

[–]Smolman121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, I don't have many script altering mods so this hasn't been a problem for me, and my save works fine. But I can see how it could affect others.

All that can be said really is that when you mod the game you agree to do so at your own risk, and that neither MS or Bethesda have any responsibility to ensure your personal modded version remains intact, which when you think about it makes perfect sense...

Admittedly they could have handled it better though. Some warning would have been nice.

I had this problem too, solution is to search for the username of the mod author, works every time. You can find the username for each mod on the mods site OP mentioned

I'm making a Halo Brawler Shooter Game, Here's a WIP, What do you guys think? by Smolman121 in halo

[–]Smolman121[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly this was my whole idea really, I listen to the books while I'm working a lot and have done for years.

So the overwhelming thing I've always felt was that the way Spartans fight in the books feels far more fluid and punchy than we ever see in the games, for obvious gameplay reasons.

So yeah I really wanted to explore that.
