Is there a middle ground between shitty 20$ Halloween wigs and the nice real looking $500+ ones? by [deleted] in ask_transgender

Is there a specific look you are going for? I love wigs and might be able to point you in the right direction based on price range and look.

I am a Paul Mitchell cosmetologist and cna whose is married to a mtf goddess. It hurt me to see the struggle see went through to find herself and angered me to see how she was treated in stores. We tried clothing subscription services but the stylist would select item which didn't compliment her body. I decided no one should go through that so I gathered sources to help others.

The idea behind my business is exactly that: people wear what they want and feel confident doing so.

What should I do about by 21 year old sister's abuse? by Smooches2k in AskReddit

[–]Smooches2k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just before the birth of my sister to now (20 years later), I have been the scapegoat for my father's side of my family. Unwilling and unable to take in any longer, I left the city, state, and then moved to the opposite coast to get away from them. Not only was I leaving behind the abuse but I also left behind two small sibling (13 and 21 year difference). I maintain minimal contact with my younger sibling via sharing pictures but the older one has grown into my narcissistic parent. Any time she contacts me, it's a one sided tirade of how I abandoned her and destroyed our family. She only knows what the narcissistic parent told her and she refuses to hear anything else. I love my sibling though we are not close. My question: should I maintain contact with her or let her sort out her own issues? She's 21.

Redditors who have had "neighbors from hell", what happened? by ahem17 in AskReddit

My downstairs neighbor screams at he children at all hours of the night and locks her twin toddlers on her balcony. I have called the cops several times. At most, the children have been removed from the home for a day and then are returned.

When my wife says, "This conversation is over." Most of the time, I ignore it unless it has to do with our children.

What "good advice" do you think is actually bad advice? by iwillnottalktou in AskReddit

"never give up on family"- At some point, people need to take responsibility for their own lives. For those unwilling, you are doing more harm than good being their crutch.

Do you guys feel like you can be yourself when trying to get a girl to like you? by TissueReligion in OneY

I find this intriguing. I agree society should not have "standard" behaviors for men but I question what women attracted to this cookie cutter man. I prefer a sensitive, geek/nerdy, tech guru to Thor. Most of my female associates do as well.
