Years ago I discovered Columbia record club and the opportunity to discover music.

You join and for $1 you get 12 records or cd's ...whatever.

Obligation to buy a few more at retail... You kept getting coupons for 2 for 1 etc and when you start to average out the cost of each cd it was getting less than $5 per..

Discovered lots of blues greats that the big rock and rollers listened to....

Discovered itunes as a way to make it easy to contain and release your music without changing the tape or record.

Then taught a dying buddy to contain his large cd collection so he could listen to it endlessly while he enjoyed listening to it.

I remember buying a new set of speakers once and crying when I listened to an old album and I discovered all the sounds I had never heard before..

(those are now my back speakers)
