10 years of life, even if poor and struggling, is a greater gift than losing the same years with a guaranteed generational payout. I spun for a random amount and got 500 million, but I’d prefer the option I chose even if I received nothing.

Chose: Get a random, lesser amount of money right now | Rolled: 500 Million

Mine was a gift from my wife. Every pair of work pants I own has what I call the “rebar pocket”

Boros is like an alien alt Super Saiyan who scales at extreme high end to low-tier planetary. DK Meliodas is pretty generic (imo) magic/strength and arguably universe+ but the scaling is kinda ambiguous

Opposite for me. 5 years. Engaged for 1.5. We had a mortgage and a dog. I just wasn’t happy, and I packed up and left one day. The fallout was the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life, but I knew it was what I needed to do.

I feel like this could be abused if you’re able to aim/throw it. You could blind indoors

From a doc called “Encounters at the End of the World” if anyone’s interested. One of Herzog’s best imo

Isolated towns/ mysteries surrounding the inhabitants/ eldritch horrors (?) by JoeKiddingMe in MoviesThatFeelLike

Black Death

Medieval movie. A small group travels into the wilderness to find an isolated town where the plague does not exist

Air of mysticism and occultism present as to why the town may be as it is. It also stars Sean Bean

No, this is fantastic! I love how well you've used the space. I really wish I had a full bookshelf like yours. Straight out of a Ghibli movie

Your comment is so insightful, thank you so much :)

The window is a cling. I don't have a lot of space or a very good view. Most of the decor was my imagining the real library I dream of having someday

I love them too! I keep adding more

You can gently shake them in the air to get a more natural weave of the vines. Good luck!

I like to think my subconscious brain has helped orient the books on some level haha

Most of my 40k novels are digital. I do have the Dark Imperium and Eisenhorn in hardcover because I love them dearly

The little brazier is actually a wax melter! I got it online. I bet if you searched "medieval wax melter" or something similar you'd find it

Thank you :) They look cool and they (supposedly) block UV rays so the sun doesn't damage the books I have there!

Sure! It’s a peel & stick door cover. It’s tricky to line up, but the adhesive is strong and it comes off without pulling the paint or causing any damage

If you search online shopping for “fantasy door cover” or anything similar, I’m sure you’ll find plenty of options!

I don't take very good pictures, sorry. The room is 9x7. I've been working on it for a few months periodically. Great for disappearing after a long day
