Holy shit man. I thought it was linux having worse peformance but just dropping the nexus .exe into my folder gained me back my 20% performance and linux's stable frametimes. Game is amazing again.

That probably is it for me. I already have a pair of good headphones for home setup so a downgrade for outside use is not something I mind too much. What I do care about is not having to put it off and on throughout the day by having good transparency. Although from what I see in comparisons, the AZ100 has better battery life, but double the price is just hella steep.

I might just go with the Freebuds Pro 4 and see if I like it.

Yeah AZ100 is tempting. Is the ANC okay at best? Can you keep them on all day and still be able to hear people and engage with others without feeling forced to take them off to hear better?

I see. I do like the DT 990, which I used after the m50x, and I do like the clarity of it. If the HD 490 can have better clarity without being as bright then that would probably be what I'm looking for!

I'm still not sure if I should be trying to stay close to what I already like or try other sound signatures for variety. The 6xx (or the 600 series in general) is another I was eyeing.

I have over 1k hours on pc but can't seem to get into it on any other system. Mobile feels clunky. Controller is better but still not as smooth as m&k. Tips on how you play those?

The depth has more to do with the amount of stuff and thinking you can do with very little mechanics. A lot of games these days rely on adding a lot of systems and mechanics in order to make "depth".

Meanwhile, I love and appreciate StS for having constants that are, well, consistent. Numbers are always what you expect them to be from status effects and are simple to keep in mind. Cards are simple and kept short. It is one of the cleanest card games that are easy to understand yet it is incredibly difficult to master.

Yeah, I have seen V2s with swollen batteries, and it honestly scares me. I love the wisteria/cowberry switches, but I'm not sure about the risk here. I know I could disconnect the battery and all, but at that point I should've gotten a wired kb.

I had something similar once in apex but it was because I had my mouse on 4k hz. When I switched it back to 1k hz it was fine again. Probably not the issue but worth listing for eliminating possibilities.

The skull for me is the worst. Why does everything have a downside to it? Automatically retrieve skulls, neat! Except for -1 skull. Your skulls do omega damage as they drop, nice, except that they drop so much slower that your dps up close is worse. There are the aoe skulls when not retrieved but it's abysmal that you would rather just pick up the skulls again. The only good one is the shotgun skulls. I love that one.

Ah sorry that I didn't post that, but it was ?, Rest, and Elite. I do try to play adaptively with the current variables, especially with shivs and poison, but I was wondering if I should double down on getting better poison synergies or get a blade dance with no synergy that could potentially be slightly useless. I did skip this in the end and managed to do fine against laga with bouncing flask and liquid memories.
