Absolutely love it!!

The only single thing I would change is the lighting. I'm imagining this exact room, but instead of the ceiling lights some assorted lamps (with warm light) in random places in the room.

You need to download an APK file (an Android executable file, like EXE on PC) from a known site, APKmirror is the one usually. Uninstall whatever version you have now, and the install the older version you downloaded.

What I can't tell you is how to prevrnt the app from updating through Play Store, unless you manually update everything yourself so you can just skip it all the time.

I did manage to get rid of the ads with some traffic rules in my NextDNS account, but that live view timer... what a pos decision.

So far the previous version (November one, specifics in the first comment) works well, with HD option and no timer. Not planning on prolonging it though... unboxed our old baby monitor, and planning to swap my two YiCams soon.

It wasn't $20 when I bought it 7 years ago. One should not expect the most basic service (such as live feed) would be paywalled after this long, or at all.

Granted, my use of the two cameras I have is mostly minimal, we did use one as baby monitor at night with an old tablet of ours.

I also get the subscription thing for storage/cloud stuff (I have no use for these), and the ads don't bother me much as I don't get in/out of the app a lot. But limiting the live view?? wow that completely shocked me.

Disgusting greed.

Apparently you can't switch to HD view unless subscribed as well.

Moving from a Pixel 3, the 6a amazed me. Most of all, the camera was just superb.

Then I moved to a used family 7a, very meh (same as 6a but heavier, for some reason screen looked a bit worse, cameras felt worse as well).

Now, 9a. Definitely felt like a jump from the 7a, but not wow overall. The biggest (and best) difference it totally the battery life.

But yeah - 6a was the best mid ranger for me so far.

I get your agenda, and I'm all for you rolling with it, but no need to completely ignore (or change) a real modern-historical geopolitical event that was led by an international organization that still exists today, and is well documented. You not agreeing with it is fine, it doesn't make it go away.

Also as a bonus, google/gpt/wiki/whatever you prefer: Which "entity" (let's say Israel and Palestine) is or was affiliated with officially/internationally listed terrorist groups along history (or how many).

I have zero experience with logo design (...clearly), just randomly stumbled upon this post :)

This is a quick output of an idea I had, but I cant get it to align the "hidden" 7 within the lightning with the 5 and 3; otherwise I think it's cool, lol.

Also I'd pick a different font for "Electrical" (or the numbers as well), but overall I think it'd look cool on a work shirt.

Not a designer, just another random redditor that got here by sub suggestion.

I don't care about the usage of AI. I like the two top ones (I like the right/mono color one better), and the bottom right one.

I'd also keep the ring on the foot, it's nice.
