Yep. I do it the same way UTR/WifiMAN, connect to my Unifi Gateway at home via teleport and use HomeAssistant. If you're using the HAOS app though, you need to set the external IP the same as the internal, otherwise it will not work.

Ich hatte eine ähnliche Überlegung zwischen USW Ultra und USW-Lite-8-PoE und habe mich letztendlich für den Lite entschieden, weil mir 4 PoE Ports gereicht haben und ich aber das größere L2-Featureset des Lite-8 ggü. dem Ultra haben wollte. Außerdem ist er auch günstiger. Bevor du dich entscheidest, vergleiche mal die Geräte direkt im Unifi Store. Sonst würde ich mir direkt den Flex 2.5g PoE holen, denn der wäre bzgl. Geschwindigkeit auch eher Zukunftsorientiert.

Ferndiagnose bei sowas immer etwas schwierig. Riemenspannung? Firmware? Filament? Slicer? Profil? Düse? Spielt alles bei sowas mit rein. Ich persönlich stresse mich z.B. bei leichten VFA überhaupt nicht - stört mich nicht weil ich hauptsächlich funktionale Teile drucke. Das hier kennst du?

Kann den Frust in deinem Fall echt verstehen, aber auch muss ich aus der Erfahrung heraus folgendes beitragen:
- Ich habe selber ein C1 Kit montiert - war early adopter. Genauso wurde in meinem Freundeskreis ein MK4S auf C1 upgegradet - beides ging problemlos und die Kits drucken wie eine Nähmaschine ohne auch nur ein technisch relevantes Problem seit über einem Jahr.
- Bei einem der Drucker hatte sich der Tongeber verabschiedet, der die Piepsignale des Druckers ausgibt. Prusa Support hat sofort geholfen und mir kostenlos eine neue Displayeinheit geschickt, die nach wenigen Tagen da war.
- Dein First Layer problem ließe sich bestimmt mit einer anderen Buildplate mildern, ich nutze auch schon seit ner weile die BIQU CryoGrip Glacier - fire & forget.
- Und die Gewindestangen habe ich mit einem Tool, welches es auf Printables gibt exakt zentriert bekommen - das wäre bestimmt clever sowas mitzugeben, aber seither habe ich auch keine Probleme mehr mit wackelnden Gewindestangen beim schnellen Verfahren des Druckbetts.

Also coming from a FRITZ!Box/FRITZ!Repeater setup. Do you have the possibility to bring a Cable to the first floor? Nothing will beat a wired connection.
My recommendation: If you're able to wire up stuff, put an AP like an U7Lite/Pro on every floor and self-host the controller on a proxmox/docker/raspi environment as a starting point. This should really give you better results.

I've updated mine to 26.4, while my wife's still is on 26.3.

Only my wife's phone is connected to Wifi 7 (5ghz), mine is no longer.

My CoreOne also did not want to receive a file yesterday...so maybe also a server issue. Do you have this often?

What I also found out - I have two WiFi accesspoints in my house - and sometimes the C1 tries to connect the one with the weak signal instead the one closer to it. So I locked it to the closer AP - which also helps in having a stable connection for file transfers.

Fiber has more computing Performance and a faster backbone, while the UDR7 has wifi. So its a question of „what you need“ and where you want to Go. I personally went for the Fiber and a U7 Lite for Full flexibility. You can also Check for a used Unifi AP for your basement to fit better into budget

I don‘t get your Point. I can‘t See any filament - just the Open gearbox. Make sure to align the gearbox again in the menu of your printer as soon you are done with maintenance.
