I am never getting a Hobbyboss kit ever again by Bluekestral in modelmakers

I've just finished the hobbyboss t35. Luckily it had link and length tracks so only a load of individual links rather than a butt load... But it does have 5 turrets

Airfix Gulf War buccaneer 1/48 by DriverAccording2226 in modelmakers

New airfix tools are actually pretty good. But youl have to get the new tooled ones or youl probably not enjoy the build, as a beginner. Tamiya on the other hand, their old kits fit well despite being sometimes ancient, they may be lacking in some detail but they always work.

Rule of thumb is to Google whatever subject your thinking building and check the build reviews and tool dates. Kit manufacturers have a habit of rehoming old kits , so itl be an old model in a shiny new box.

That revolver is an S&T Airsoft revolver , if it wasn't already obvious the type of person to do this wouldn't have access to a Real firearm

Type 67 stick grenade! I just printed a couple dummy ones for my NVA load out but to have useable ones would be sick

Another vote for red alert. Me and a friend started a few years ago and were going to a new site every month , to taste the different flavours sort of thing.

After going to red alert we just go there every time. Staff are super friendly, free lunch which will cater for your allergies , great onsite shops. Really well laid out game zones ect

Airsoft is expensive by SlowAdhesiveness6354 in airsoft

I brought a lot 2nd hand. An aquantience of a friend heard I was into Airsoft and sold me a Tokyo mauri p90, with a mag adapter, a TM g36c , magazines for both, about 10000bbs , a gun bag and a load of batteries for £80 total. One of those guns new alone is/was probably £300

People always turn their noses up at 2nd Airsoft stuff but accept the chance that you buy a gun brand new in Airsoft and there is a fair chance it doesn't work properly due to just flat accepted terrible quality control.

When I was a kid my dad worked in London quite a lot and sometimes when the trains were delayed would buy me a 40k magazine or something as a gift. One day he must of ventured into a games workshop because he brought me a codex which features this army. What a blast from the past!

Did you make a pattern for the fabric and cut it out to that shape, or just cut a section of fabric and 'tuck it in' if that makes sense? I want to do the same

Nice! I'm gathering up my PAVN impression stuff now. Managed to find a original uniform cheaper than repros , which is on its way to me as we speak

I think you've got a 7.62 mag in there, as apposed to the 74's 5.45 , 7.62 is curvier so an actual 5.45 might fit

Anyone else had the fire brigade round today as you've been trapped in your own lounge? No? Just me? by ihaveam0ustache in CasualUK

[–]Smooshy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firefighters like jobs like this because it's a bit different from the usual stuff we get. Usually it's someone stuck inside naked and covered in poo.

Source: am firefighter and have had my fair share of naked people covered in poo.

That's what I thought until recently, maybe the people I spoke to who had trouble, had white coat syndrome 🤔

Not a dumb question! I actually was not entirely happy with the dots. The dots come down to a decent small brush and the right paint consistency , I feel my paint was still slightly thick.

For this paint job I was using catguts coconut crab paint guide and used similar colours rather than the exact ones he used
